They have a lot of construction to do but in an African country it's not hard to literally hire an army of workers to do the labour. I think they will probably finish the work in time.

S.Africa is nice place, im glad they are hosting it even tough i was in favor of Egypt but its all good.

I hope FIFA doesnt change this, but looks like they will becouse European countries will waith long time until they host the WC again.

If you think the 2010 Logo is nice - Have you seen the Official Mascot "Zakumi"? He's really cute.

But there are starving people in loads of places throughout the world. Does that mean we shouldn't have sporting events and spend money on them? Should we rather just can the whole lot and feed the starving instead?
What are you taking home that's worse? Don't understand.

Not all people in Africa are poor you know, it's not that black and white. Especially not in South-Africa, the richest country on the continent. In fact, South-Africa's GNP per capita is $5,106, that's higher than any South-American country apart from Uruguay, which has $5,274. Argentina is way below that with just $4,799. Should they never be able to host a World Cup either? Hosting such a big tournament could be a big boost for the economy and it could show the world a different side of Africa. So I think it's a good idea
