I see you have a very few foreign players in the Turkish league. That's very good as they are a lot of prospects for promoting your own talents and developing as a football nation. Unfortunately in most European leagues today almost half, or even the majority of the players are foreigners - usually coming from specific Latin American countries or Africa. This is a big humper for the development of European football, and the consequences will be evident soon.

that list is not complete, he only listed the 3 major clubs in the TSL. There are many more foriegners in the TSL. Each team is limited to 6 + 1 foriegners. Which means 6 foriegners can play at a time and 1 can be on the bench and can only be substituted if another foriegner comes out. I feel this rule is keeping us back in competitions like the CL or UEFA cup.

I did not pay attention to this. I was misleaded by the title of the thread (Foreign Players in Turkey).

This is something positive, for the reasons I mentioned. I wish we had such a rule too.

Lol might as well advertize the whole section with Carlos's photos since he's the "only foreigner" in our league. This is not the complete list and Kezman is not a Croatian he's a Serb.
Geez.

There is a maximum limit of 5 non-European players in every team. There isn't a limit for European players.

However this does not have any importance, as a lot of players who are foreign are easily obtaining European passports and that's enough to bypass the rule.

When you say it you're directly labeled as stone-headed or a racist ***k but that's just horrible. What will the industrialized football bring us next?

Adriano needs a fresh start. Fenerbahce would be perfect for him. Take a risk and join your countrymen.Fenerbahce has 10 foreign players including Edu,Lugano,Aurelio,Alex,Deivid,Roberto Carlos.. There are more Brazilians than the Turks in this team.

Also he could create a deadly striking force up front with Kezman..

Here is the Fenerbahce, Super Lig Champions...

Volkan(TURKEY)
Onder Turaci(BELGIUM)
Lugano(URUGUAY)
Edu(BRAZIL)
Roberto Carlos(BRAZIL)
Appiah(GHANA)
Kazim Collins(ENGLAND)
Aurelio(BRAZIL)
Alex(BRAZIL)
Kezman(SERBIA)
Deivid De Souza(BRAZIL)

Onder, Ali Bilgin, Deniz, Gurhan, and Kazim are Turkish but either born in another country or one of their parents are foreigners. Aurelio and Wederson have Turkish citizenship but obviously not Turks. So that leaves Serdar, Volkan, Tumer, Can, Yasin, Gokhan, Ugur, Kemal, Ilhan, Semih, and Selcuk. The foreigners are Deivid, Alex, Kezman, Appiah, Edu, Lugano, R. Carlos.
