Real Madrid chief Mijatovic: Kaka our objective
September 25, 2006

Real Madrid sports chief Predrag Mijatovic has again declared they won't give up their bid for AC Milan star Kaka.
In an interview on Spanish TV last night, Mijatovic described Kaka as "a great objective" for next season and admitted that "Real do lack an organiser in midfield".

The Real chief also insisted that renewing the contract of David Beckham was a "high priority".

Real's management says Kaka is still a target, and because it's Madrid I won't say the move won't happen, but I think we have very few chances to get him.....it wa very clear he didn't want to leave Milan....

u never know milan did sell scheva so i dont see why they wouldn't sell kaka. although kaka is much younger and probably will become the next ronaldinho, so i cant see ac selling him

eto'o9 made a good point but even for berlusconi - money talks. especially if milan manage to acquire ronaldinho, a scenario that might not be that far fetched. kaka will definitely stay with ac this season but i strongly believe that he will be real's players come summer. i sincerely hope he will make that switch since he is real's missing link. with all due respect to guti, with kaka in the line-up real would challenge barca and valencia to the end. the way things stand at the moment we just might have to wait another year...

ronaldinho is NOT going anywhere in my opinion.

he is in LOVE with his team, his city, and his coach. he has WC players all around him. why leave?

as far as kaka coming, i think it will happen, who knows when, but it will

Default Re: Kaka?

why leave? the answer is simple-because of the money...
i'll grant you that he wouldn't switch to chelsea due to their recent rivalry regardless of the money but i believe that milan is a different story. both spanish and italian media reported of the rift between ronaldinho and rijkaard in the preseason and that's when the rumours linking him with a move to milan started. some people also say that berlusconi opted for ricardo oliveira simply because of the fact that he is ronaldinho's good friend and could therefore tip the scale in milan's favour when they come looking for ronaldinho...
according to some stories from a couple of years ago, ronaldinho and his brother (also his agent) rejected a move to old trafford and had already agreed to a deal that would take him to madrid the following year. he would remain at psg for one more year and then switch to bernabeu but barca apparently forked over god knows how much money and suddenly he was on his way to camp nou. so, i really disagree with the fact that a player is "in love" with a certain club, city, fans etc.
they're all professionals trying to amass as much money as possible during their short but sometimes very spectacular careers and stick to the moto: you pay - i play...
of course, it is very possible that these are just rumours fueled by the need for sensation but i would't be that surprised if ronaldinho moves to another club in a year or two...
i agree with juanca on the subject of kaka. considering pedja's, calderon's and capello's statements, kaka was and still remains as the number one target for the merengues...

Kaka will come next season IMO, he never stops complaining now at Milan after they sold Sheva and is definatly looking for a move, Spain would suit him and I would love to see him in the white shirt.

Default Re: Kaka?

croatian media keep reporting of a rift between kaka and ancelotti. supposedly kaka was unhappy with tactical formation in a game vs lille in the champ.league. he stated that he didn't like the idea of playing with just one forward since it puts too much pressure on him. he has to connect midfield with lone forward and once he joins his teammate upfront, he lacks the strength and concentration for a quality finishing. apparently, his statement instigated some sarcastic comments by gattuso and ambrosini. on top of that, croatian media reported that every once in a while pedja points out that kaka is a number one target for real. where there's smoke...

Madrid already have enough offensive power, they just need to gel it all together and put a solid product on the field consistently. Buying more talent doesn't solve problems as madrid fans should know. There are already solid playmakers in madrid's squad raul, guti, and cassano are more than sufficient. Someone does need to take the twinkies away from cassano though, he creates so much but his fitness is always bad.

Milan need to bring in young players not sell them off. As for disputes, they happen every day it just depends on whether or not the press gets their hands on them.

He(Cassano) played well in the games he's played in, which were the first couple. He had a couple assists and a goal or two. Then reyes came and took his spot without doing a whole lot to secure a spot in the lineup. I'm not convinced with guti right now, the real vs. althletico game was just on and he didn't play all that well, he provoked a few cards but he wasn't passing crisply. They are playing too many balls in the air where playing to feet could do more damage.
