Koper - looking good - new forum?

Koper signed a sponsor contract with consortium including:

- Istrabenz
- Banka Koper
- Luka Koper
- Intereuropa

These companies are top companies in Primorska and it looks like Koper might return to its old glory.

They intend to modernize the stadium aswell, the plan is to be good enough for NT games. Looks like they're serious...

Well, that's good news for Koper and our football in general.

Glad to hear about Bonifika modernization. I hope it is not going to be as tricky as the construction of the indoor arena nearby. Pity, the stadium has the athletic runway.

I think it would be best if we swap Gorica for Koper. They really did a big progress this year and they are already having some succeses. In Maribor forum there are some Koprèani writing all the time, maybe they come to WSB if we invite them. We have to give them their own forum.

What does a moderator do?

That's a good news.

Apart from football they don't have any other important sport club there, so this project might succeed. They also plan to build the floodlight. In my opinion, all this is very good. If anybody, then Koper might be our third big team and a serious opponent to Olimpija and Maribor, thus making our »village« league more interesting and open.

They deserve it. A few days ago I was reading newspapers from 1986 or 1987. They competed in the 2nd league – west with teams like Kikinda, Proleter, GOŠK Jug at the time, but they had an average audience of 6, 7 thousand! There is a great interest in football on the Coast and I think that it is the best place for another strong team in Slovenia.

Also, I'm sure that if they 'd be the third Slovenian team to represent us in Europe, they wouldn't shame themselves in a way as Gorica did.

Bobby, we can have as many forums as we like. It's not Gorica for Koper swap. It's Koper besides Gorica. I'll tell Tariq.

Moderator's job?

Moderator as I see it keeps the level of discussion by closing/editing post which are abusive, etc. etc. Moderator should serve as an example for others, have vast support, so it's appropriate if moderator is chosen by vote. Moderator should also worry about forum growing by presenting interesting topics, posting alot...

Things are geting beter and beter.
Maribor, Olimpija and Koper should be "sveta trojica" in SNL in the future.
At is seem to be we`ll have in neer future 5 modern stadions(Maribor(Wembley)

, Ljubljana, Celje, Mura and Koper). I just hope that they`ll be full of spectators hungry for football!!!

Fantastic, these three teams should be Sveta Trojica, and together with Mura they should be Velika Cetverica.

If these 4 teams were in the top of the table and if they had decent stadiums with floodlight, there would be an average of 8000 in Maribor, 6000 in Koper and 5000 in Murska on their matches. Ljubljana? I fear it would be 3500 only.

Agree, Mate. And at the time it looks we are on a good way, meaning Olimpija and Koper in the first plan here.

And concerning that derby in LV Maribor isn't at the top form at the time, it was raining the whole day and still the stadium was full. And I see only Koper that can make our stadium full in MB when they come up to 3rd place (in SLO league, of course). And the same probably goes for Koper and Bežigrad stadium. But if Gorica or Rudar are even 10 points in front of MB, maybe 4-5000 people will come to watch them, not more. So the 'Sveta trojica' (or èetverica) is the future of our SLO scene.

Seka, I don't care for Gorica forum, we can have it. But there was already somebody who said noone is posting there, so that's why I think we could swap.

If that's all the job for a moderator I can do that if Alen doesn't want to, no problem.
