PAOK, after their elimination by Maccabi, they are in very bad psychological condition, (in their minds they were already in CL!) and many members of the team left, so this can influence in the new championship. AEK Athens a lot of economical problems and bad psychological condition two (half players left, they demolished their stadium and now they cannot build a new one). So the teams that will fight for the title will be Panathinaikos and Olympiacos again...

Olympiakos will win it this year. PAO have been the stronger side for the last 2 years despite only winning it last year, but now Seitaridis, Fyssas, & Nikopolidis have left I don't think PAO will win it. The new players brought in (with the exception Gonzalez) looked poor in the pre-season friendlies. Henriksen should have retired last year, Kiriagkos needs shooting, and Knostantinou is v.low on confidence. Olympiakos have made big signings in Rivaldo, Okkas, and Schurrer, as well as some decent players like Rezic, & Nikopolidis. They've also got the great Bajevic back, who is the best manager in Greece if you ask me. Olympiakos will win it easilym, by about 10 points!!! |

Bringing again this post from the summer...
After things are like that, noone knows who is going to be the winner. Panathinaikos and Olympiakos are in the top with 46 points each. AEK is a point back at 45...
4th is Skoda Xanthi at 39 and then PAOK at 35 but I think one of the first 3 has chances to win it.
