I hope Garay plays instead of Albiol and Raul is benched. Higuain and Benzema up front... though i would prefer Higuain and Van Nistelrooy... but what ever.

what players are available?
Hmm.. i don't know if we should start with Ronaldo guys. we could bench him and sub him in in the second half or if we are down a goal, but then there's a possibility that he will fade, because the team chemistry could be bad and I don't know if he's the kind of player who could change a team like that.

Only Arbeloa is doing decent though.. De la Red was pretty good before he got that injury, now it's kind of unclear whether or not his playing career is over, he's already been out last season and he's gonna be out this whole season aswell. They already removed his number and shit from the squad and gave it to Raul Albiol

C.Ronaldo is fit to play and he can't wait. Benzema, Kaka' and CR9 are made energizered for the clash...I want to remind that the judges are going to be more for the Barca side, so many fouls made against CR and Kaka' might be ignored by the judges.

I think Manuel will use this formation:

------------San Iker--------------
-------Pepe----------Garay-------

S.Ramos------------------Arbeloa
-------------------Lass(DM)-------

-----X.Alonso(CM)----------------

C.Ronaldo-----------------Marcelo
-------------Kaka'-----------------

---------------Benzema------------

Lass is going to rule the defense, he's very tenacious. And fill in for S.Ramos when he goes forward.

Alonso has a pin point brilliant pass, as long and as short pass, if we will use flanks more, Alonso will make the passes from inside of our half to the fast Marcelo and C.Ronaldo flanks.

The only one I am worried about is Arbeloa, he used to stop Messi when he was in RM before, but now he will face another Messi. Almost sure that Barca will use our left side for attacks, Marcelo is not that good in defense, and Arbeloa might not catch up with Messi. But Arbeloa has morale boost for this match. RM considers a replacement on the left side of defense, and if Arbeloa will eat up Messi tomorrow he will tighten his position in starting 11. Arbeloa understand it very good, hope he'll close Messi...

I'll be more worried about Lass covering for Arbeloa, Pepe usually does a good job covering Ramos.

Pellegrini: "Barca are playing brilliant football"

Real Madrid boss Manuel Pellegrini believes that Guardiola's Barca are playing brilliantly and with a lot of “naturalness”, but warned that his team also have”plenty of quality”.

Speaking at press conference the day before the game, Manuel Pellegrini insisted, “Barca will not change the way they play, they never do, but we will go to the Nou Camp to attack”.

Real Madrid are due to leave the Spanish capital for Barcelona at 19.00 on Saturday evening.

Barca more than just individuals

The Chilean coach made it clear that: “Barca are not just Xavi, Iniesta or Messi. They are a team and they play football very well and they have great players all over the pitch”. As to his opposite number, Pellegrini had plenty of praise for Guardiola: “Pep's done a great job, even though he's a young trainer and has only just begun his career”.

Ronaldo and Albiol in squad

Cristiano Ronaldo will finally be available for the game after coming back from injury this week and his manager insisted: “ Cristiano Ronaldo is an irreplaceable player”, though he refused to reveal if the Portuguese winger would play the whole 90 minutes. Pellegrini's only doubt is Raul Albiol, who will travel with the squad, with a decision set to be made as to whether he plays on Sunday itself.

Ronaldo is 100% fit, great news!
Only hours to go, they're airing the replay of last season 6-2 crush, I'm gonna watch it just to get pumped up for revenge as Madrid crushes Barcelona!

To be honest Gran Derbi wasn't that spectacular as I expected it to be...Barcelona won, but it wasn't a pretty win, but I think it was a deserved one. Messi played some great football.

I watched a little bit of the game but not enough to make a proper comment on it all.

Good goal though.
