Default 3 New Players Before August!

Portuguese player Nani joined United along with

Brazilian INTERNATIONAL Anderson (He rarely played this season due to injury, but he is PHENOMENAL when on.)

and of course

Owen "You Knew It Was Coming!" Hargreaves from Munich...

I honestly believe Munich waited and held onto O.H. just to ensure Toni's arrival and safely secure his wages.

I wish Brazilian and former/could possibly still be United target Kerlon would make the move! He was said by many to "put Ronaldinho to shame" at his age.

Honestly i had never heard of anderson until yesterday. i watched some vids of him on youtube and he is insane when on form. lets hope he isnt injury prone.

nani was a solid buy. a fast skillful winger, maybe not to be mentioned in teh likes of ronaldo and rooney but still a top world class player. plus he is a couple of years younger than them so we shall see.

Hargreaves, cant really say anything thats not been said a million times before in the manchester united part of the england threads.

i wonder if SAF will go for a 5 man midfield next year, and do the rotating thing like as roma and my highschool soccer team. it would make sense with buying two defensively minded midfielders, Hargreaves/Carrick and then an attacking mid in anderson.

Well I think the gaffer has a bit more riding on the classic system than your high school coach.

Liverpool rotated their formation each match.......

They have yet to see the Top 2 since Rafa.

they did that against roma and it worked. one up front with two supporting midfielders who rotated throughout the game. it confuses defenders. its not hte rotating thing that liverpool does, its a rotating during hte game itself.

and dont have too little faith in my former coach he has coached teams to 5 state cups and used to play for united. billy garton played in the eighties.

The Roma game was mostly luck. Let's all be honest...
We played extremely well while their entire side seemed to have an off-day.

We also attempted the rotation system and formation you proposed and lost to them a week prior to that.

Whenever you see Evra score, then you know that your side is having one of those days where anything hits the back of the net.

Coaching a local US club team to a state title is much different than dealing with the likes of Gerrard, Ballack, Lampard, Terry, Ronaldo, Rooney, and Parker.
