Claudio pizarro going to rangers....maybe

Rangers are apparently chasing Bayern Munich striker Claudio Pizarro. The Peruvian player has scored 122 goals in 229 appearances for the Munich side but rangers are facing stiff competition from Chelsea, Juventus and Villareal.

The question is though will he want to go to Chelsea as he may not get first team football, Juventus where he might not be going for the championship and no champions league football and Villareal who sit 7th in their league and the possibility of no European football.

Or he could come to rangers who will probably be in contention for the league and also the cups, could be in the champions league group stages or further, play with a big fan base and almost certain of a first team place week in and week out. Although the only problem could be wages but I'm sure we will bump up the wages for a player of his quality.

I am not saying that Rangers is going to be his dream move but he could, with the factors i pointed out, be happy at rangers.

Damm it looks like hes going to go to Juventus....they have offered him 60k a week but we could only manage 45k a week

Ah Claudio Pizarro Today signed for Chelsea on a four year deal. Shame that, I thought Pizarro was a striker, not a bench warmer
