Levski...should Bulgarians be behind the blues?

I know how much controversy can be created when someone sparks the discussion on who is Bulgaria's best football team.

In my heart and in official statistics it is CSKA Sofia. Although CSKA earned a wonderful win against England's grand Liverpool at Anfield, during the football year 2005-2006 it seems that our legendary enemies Levski have outplayed us and many other good teams.

The question I ask is should us CSKA's supporters and all other non-Levski supporters, cheer for Levski just for the fact that no Bulgarian team has shown such good playing in European Competitions since 1989-1990 CSKA quarter finals in the Champions' League.

Levski hasn't played their 2nd leg against Udinese and nothing is sure,but I believe that they will be at their best in Sofia, and will make it to the quarter finals, and will hopefully make all the way to the cup. Although I won't be as happy if Levski lift the UEFA Cup as if it was CSKA, I will still be proud since a Bulgarian team has finally its name engraved on one of the trophies...plus it will make our UEFA points go up, which will help CSKA for next year's Champions' League.
