Default Campbell storms out of Highbury at half time

According to rumours, Campbell had a very poor first half, and after being substituted at half time, reportedly got changed and left Highbury, and this followed a bust-up between him and Wenger. I'm only going on rumours on an message board so far, so I don't know about the accuracy of this, but given Campbell's recent performances, it would not suprise me, I doubt Campbell would have started if one of Toure, Cygan, Lauren, Eboue, Cole or Clichy were available.

According to quotes I read from Wenger, he defending Campbell somewhat. I don't know if he left after being told he was being taken off, which would make some sense and be rather more forgivable than simply leaving. Still, not a classy move from a player who is supposed to be a veteran leader on a rather young squad.

Campbell should definitely be on the bench once the defense is a bit healthier. Senderos and Toure looks to be a much better combination at this point. I'd even rather see Toure and Cygan back there...

At the very least, this should ensure that Arsenal will go after a quality centre back in the summer. Please....

lol... it is a disaster for not buying a defence in the jan market.. AW knows we really lack of player at the back there.. he use reserve to do back up and hope toure and eboune back after the nation cup.. lol.. after they are back, by the time we are will in the mid of the table lo.. although the young guns are doin good at the back.. especially the 17 yrs lads, they did very well though.. it is beter than senderos and sol.. during everton match.. things already gone wrong at the back.. we giv a stupid goal and lose that game, again at wigan, we lose jus becos stupid goal.. all some from the cb.. sol and senderos really not doin great at the cb.. instead cygan is doin well.. now market close.. we miss lauren.. it will be a frustrating season for us.. there is no doubt. jus imagine a team without four selected defence.. what would happen to ur team.. our front and mid is no problem at all.. all fit to go.. and i duno y there is no input in defence..

Wenger couldn't predict there would be so many injuries and that Campbell was gonna have a shit period. But I fully expect the Arse to get smashed again this weekend.

i think there's more to why Campbell left the stadium...
Wenger wasn't too comfortable on the questions related to Sol being thrown to him after the match....

Could be the next big gun to leave the troubled side. Arsenal need sell the old crap, and start pure and clean from the ground up.
