Default Mexico U-17 WC in Peru 2005

Here's the Mexican squad for the U 17 championship:

GKs: Sergio Arias y Jesús Gallardo

Defense: Patricio Araujo, Efraín Juárez, Christian Sánchez, Héctor Moreno, Mario Gallegos, Heriberto Beltrán, Adrián Aldrete, Pedro Valverde y José de Jesús Reyes

Midfield: Omar Esparza, Jorge Hernández, Edgar Andrade, Juan Silva, César Villaluz

Attack: Giovanni Dos Santos, Carlos Alberto Vela, Ever Guzmán Zavala y Enrique Esqueda

Coach: Jesús Ramírez

The star of the team is Giovanni Dos Santos but another good player is Ever Guzman.

Another fact of this team is that after tours in England, the US and Argentina this team remains undefeated, and in opinion of a writer for FIFA.com this team is loaded in the offense. Although the coach of the team says that the stregth of this team is in the defense.

Giovanni arraived, he's now with the U 17 NT in Aguascalientes were they are currently getting ready to travel to Peru at the end of this week.

The team is now complete and it looks like a very strong group, the coach Jesus Ramirez said: "The goal of everybody on this team is winning the tournament, everybody in this squad believes that we can be champs of the world."

The rivals:

Uruguay (in the first match), it looks like a strong team, but it looks that Mexico is superior. This match is crucial in the aspirations to advance to the next stage.

Turkey, the most difficult rival, they are the european champs and in this match they would show us if Mexico is ready for bigger things.

Australia, they are fast but it doesn't look like they have much more, this one is a must win for Mexico.

In the second round they could face either Peru (the host and therefore very hard) and Ghana (they are tough because they have good players and it doesn't hurt that these guys are above the maximum age because people from Ghana cheat with their birth certificates, for more information about the subject ask Freddy Adu)

So that leave us:

5 Zorros
4 Chivas
3 Cementeros
2 Pumas
2 Aguilas
2 Monarca
1 Tuzo
1 Barcelonista

By the way Calif, you probably know that Carlos Vela the striker of this team and a Chivas second division player is the brother of the first team striker Alejandro Vela.

Have you heard about his game?, I've heard that he's a better player than his old brother.

How this team fields?

Well they could have changed a few things, but considering the qualifiers for this tournament, they can field pretty much like this:

-----------------Arias-------------------
------Moreno---Beltran----Araujo--------
--Juarez------------------------Reyes---
----------Villaluz-------Silva-------------
--------------Dos Santos----------------
--------Vela------------Guzman---------
