Re: portugal vs brazil
Brazil would take it no doubt, Portugal needs new changes because so far it's not a sign of good hope whe they broiguth back Figo and Rui Costa.

My God, comparing a 180 million people country with a 10 million...
Well I´m a portuguese. I think it would be more probable Brazil to win than Portugal, but the fact is Brazil is always more likely to win than ANY other team on Earth. Great teams always fear each other, so I would say, that the most probable result would be a tie.
3-0 is obviously exagerating (if Portugal lost 3-0 with Brazil what would happen to all the others teams in Europe? ), though Brazil is really the best team in the World. Portugal is right now the 2nd-4th best team in Europe after the Czech Republic (undoubtedly the best right now) and maybe Holland (very well, since the Euro Holland has improved a lot) and France.
PS:. Brazil is the best team in the World, but I don´t think they will win. Only once a non-european won the world cup in Europe a looooong time ago. I think it will be either Czech Republic, Portugal, Holland, France and Germany the new champion, and although Germany is the worst of these teams for me they are the biggest favourites.

lol, and you know who that non-european team was? - BRASIL (Sweden 1958).
Brasil, the ONLY team to participate in every world cup.
Brasil, the ONLY team to win the world cup on a foreign continent
Brasil, the ONLY team to win the world cup on EVERY continent it has EVER been played on.
Brasil, the FIRST team to 3, 4, and 5 championships, as well as the ONLY one with 4 or more.
Brasil .

Yes I do. And it is just my opinion, but who won in 66, 74, 82, 90 and 98? My point is: In Europe, it is much easier for europeans to win.

I agree with what you said, the only thing I disagree is putting France on the spot as one of the best teams... France without Zizou is nuttin' and they (the French) need to pray so they can qualify, and also for him (Zidane) to be in shape next year.

Re: portugal vs brazil
Hell-o!!!
Portugal vs Brazil. Result: nowadays is more difficult to Brazil to win Portugal, not like other times, when Brazil was clearly the best.
The problem to me is that are many people that understimate Portugal (I am repeating this again ), and think Brazil is gonna easily win (not only Portugal) but also the WC, but beware because is rare to a non-european team to win a WC in Europe AHAHAHAH

Re: portugal vs brazil
My prediction
If the game is in Portugal 2-2
If the game is in Brasil 5-2 to Brasil.

But the problem is... Zidan and Makelele (in my opinion he is the best defensive miedfield player in the world) are back.
France has difficult matches ahead: they will play Switzerland and Ireland away. I hope they lose because I can´t stand them.

Well ok, I give my predictions:
If the game was in Portugal I think it would be 1-1, or Portugal would win 1-0 (by the way last time we faced Brazil, we defeated them 2-1).
If the game was in Brazil, i think it would be 2-0 or 2-1.
Nachi 5-2? We hav a bad keeper, but only if we played very badly and Brazil excelled. For Christ sake, that is exageration.
If the game was in a neutral venue maybe 0-0.
