Lux's Strong Thoughts !
Luxemburgo: "I want a strong team to win all the competitions".
Real Madrid return to work. Before starting the pre-season, the coaching staff met to analyze how the pre-season will develop. Taking advantage of this moment, the trainer of the team, Vanderlei Luxemburgo, has been giving on Realmadrid.com and Real Madrid TV his predictions for the coming season and the incorporation of the new signings.
The summer holidays have come to an end for the players of the first team of Real Madrid. It´s time to return to work. As in every season, the team trainers met to analyze how the pre-season will develop in order to obtain the best possible results. Taking advantage of the moment, to teams trainer, Vanderlei Luxemburgo, has been giving on Realmadrid.com and Real Madrid TV his predictions for the 2005 - 2006 season and the incorporation of the Uraguayans Pablo García andDiogo. the Brazilian wants a balanced team, united, and one which wins all the titles.
So coach, now it´s time to get back to work. How do you feel about the pre-season?
Good, very good. We´ll start working with all the training exercises next week. I´m hoping that it´ll work out well for us. The objective for this season is to do things better than last season.
What are your immediate plans?
Well, we´re starting off by training at Las Rozas. The plan is sure to be a day of work with single sessions and the next day double sessions. In six days we have to go and play the first game of the pre-season. So we need to do working sessions, but intelligently. Our players have to be well prepared to have the best possibilities of victory this season.
How do you see the tour of the United States and Asia?
It will be a preparation for the season just like any other, nothing more.
In terms of Pablo García and Diogo, what do you think of them?
I saw Carlos Diogo when he was playing with River Plate. He´s very young, he has a lot of strength, and he will certainly be an important player, he´ll be very good. I saw Pablo García with Osasuna. He´s a brave players, has a very strong personality, with a lot of character. What I want is a team in which everyone thinks the same way. I don´t want individuality. I want a strong team to win all the competitions. Everyone has to make sacrifices for the team.

I like Lux's attitude and I think that is why he is one of the best coaches in the world, and probably one of the best coaches for Real Madrid!

Ya we see how much u r jealous of Ronaldo
I tell u that even if Robinho lands in Real Madrid or not we are going to conquer la league this season (With the help of R9 , owen ,and Raul)
I truely beleive that Raul will be back to his blistering BEST...
Hail Real

In that case we need to send Raul to Liverpool too so that they can read each other and score more goals...
Ronaldo doesnt need any one to put the ball in the net...Just give him the ball and he will do the rest...
Take it easy

lol... No I would much rather have Raul stay since he is a symbol of Real Madrid now, and he has time to regain his form, if he already hasn't before the new season.
Anyways, our 2 signings are very effective because now our defensiv play will be alot more stronger with these 2 talented young and strong mined players, here is a quote from one of them from the Real Madrid site, "Real Mardrid have trusted in me, now I will defend them to the death."
Robinho will be a great signing but I think it would be good giving the situation that the January transfer market is the time he should join BECAUSE by then we can decide if our season is on the right track and that if we truly need to spend 50 million on Robinho just yet, because there are other ways he can come to Real Madrid and be much more effective than just buying him now.
But still, if Robinho can come this summer, that's still the best signing. What Lux has done and if you read what I posted him saying on the top, is that with these 2 signings brings more confidence and chemistry in the team, and sometimes players need to sacrifice things to become apart of a team. He also mentioned that to become very successfull means to let go of the individuality between the Real Madrid players.
Luxemburgo, has truly healed Real Madrid, and now it's time to make them Champions again!

I truely hope the same....Raul finds his magical touch again.. I want to see Raul and Ronaldo fire on all cylinders this season...
Even though Robinho is a good player..I dont want him to come here right now, because it will create problems for the starting line up.. I hate to see Ronaldo, Raul,Owen , Zidane on the bench...

Re: Lux's Strong Thoughts !
people it has already been decided that robinho will play on the left wing, like how luque of deportivo does, it would be a left winger but more forward than usuall, so he wouldnt be upsetting the formation at all, he would be filling a whole in the gap

Re: Lux's Strong Thoughts !
its most likely going to be this:
-------------Ronaldo------Owen-------------
-Zindane------------Raul--------------Beckham
--------------------Graveson-----------------
Carlos-------Sameul--------Woodgate----Salagdo
-------------------Cassillas-------------------
Lux, said he doesnt want to start Robinho much as yet, as he doesnt want to put him under all the pressure, u see what a good coach we have, bt when Robinho start most likely Zindane would be benched, or even Zindane and raul may switch from time to time, and if samuel gone helegara would start
I noticed that Lux and i think we every simularly, i think this is what he would be going for
