Default Argentina & Brasil...anyone else outhere?

Well.......Argentina & Brasil will play semifinals in the World Youth Fifa Championship and looks like they will play the final in Fifa's Confederation Cup.

Should these Teams give handicap to their rivals in the upcoming World Cup 2006? Like......the game starting 1-0 for the opponent team?

It seems there are a lot of good Teams out there. However, they melt as soon as they advance. Lack of character....when they step in the field and they see the Argie or Brasilian Jerseys they shit their pants.
Anyone can have a lucky day and win against these monster. However, these two are the only ones with consistency.

I know...it sounds stupid but isn't the truth?

peace

It's not. Argentina didn't make it past the stage group in last World Cup and Brazil had their whole way paved to the final by the horrible referees(sp?) of Korea/Japan.

If anything, it's Brazil and Argentina (along with the hosts) the teams that start with an advantage, because they are favourites, FIFA will always help them a little bit more than their oponents and worst of all is, they DONT need any help to beat other teams. It's sad but it's true.

I do think, however, that in junior levels there is too much respect from the other teams to Brazil and Argentina.

I am waiting to see which version of Arg are we gonna see tomorrow.

It sheerly depends on their attack .... both arg and brazil are weak in the defence.... if they can convert 50% of their chances then they'll win for sure. Last WC that was the issue with Arg they couldn't finish. Similarly finishing was again the cause of concern for Bra against Mex in the Confed cup. Germany also have a good team.

But rest assured if Bra-Arg can convert atleast 50 % of their chances then it'll be tuff for the other teams.

Brazil have actually got a quality defence, it's just that they choose to play that imbocil Roque Junior. If they partnered Lucio with one of Luisao, Alex or Juan then their defence would be really tough to break down.

As for Argentina's defence....Samuel, Javier Zanetti, Ayala, Placente?? Don't make me laugh, they are world class players.

argentina have a great defence

brazil have to cut roque junior he blows

but when you have such a monsterous attack like brazil does then defence isn't as important

they have great attack but it would be much better if ronaldinho actually took some shoots, i mean come on even lucio takes more shoots.
