Re: Papa resigns
And we have a new man in charge...
Official: Rossi nets Lazio job

Former Atalanta boss Delio Rossi has officially signed a one-year contract to take over at Lazio, announced the club this evening.
Rossi has been in the frame and took pole position once Frenchman Paul Le Guen passed up on the opportunity.
The tactician – who almost turned Atalanta’s season around but was eventually unable to avoid relegation – has penned a one-year deal with an option to extend for a second season.
He takes over from Giuseppe Papadopulo, whose contract was not renewed despite capturing an Intertoto Cup spot.
“We are convinced this is the right decision and all the rumours about Le Guen came from his interest in our project,” insisted President Claudio Lotito. “Rossi has always made sure his teams play entertaining football and I hope he’ll do the same here.”
Lazio also confirmed in their announcement that the new director of sport will be Carlo Osti, replacing Gabriele Martino following his resignation.
“Rossi is the right Coach for a revamped Lazio that will base a lot of its success on the youth sector,” added Lotito. “I hope the critics leave him to do his work. It is a one-year contract because, just as with husband and wife, you need to get to know each other before forging a partnership.”

Welcome Mr Rossi! Sounds good to me, though personally I would have preferred Le Guen.
