Default Foreign Limit Lifted

The Turkish Football Federation or TFF have finally decided to lift the foreign limit.

The football federation have decided to have no limit on foreign football players from countries ranked 70 or better to be transferred to turkish teams.

TFF, who currently only allow 6 foreign players on a team, will go with the English model to have Turkish teams freely go around the globe and transfer countless number of foreign players. This new system will be in effect as early as next transfer window.

Fenerbahces wish have been fulfilled
Fenerbahces president, Aziz Yildirim, have always wanted the foreign limit to be lifted so that our teams have the opportunity to fight against Europes big guns head to head. Although some club presidents defended the idea of foreign limits, worried that it could damage the league while some others said that it could create turks vs foreigners situation. It doesn't matter now though what they thought, the foreign player limit is going to the history books.

What is the English model?
According to the english model, a team can transfer a countless number of foreign players in FIFAs top 70 ranks. The player that is transferred has to be in the National Team of the respective country, and be a first class player. If a youth player is in question of transfer, they have to be in their own National Youth team as well.

Cheers!

We can buy a foreign player, whereas you are struggling to pay a player. Big Difference, hey?

The TFF just voted in yesterday's meeting to keep to foreign limit at 6 players. Fenerbahce again will complain about this decision. Wat is wrong with these people. It is obvious that we can not compete with other european teams because of the lack of talent on our teams. They want us to have quality turkish players but none of those quality players want to play in turkey. If emre, nihat, the altintop brothers, yildiray, and other turkish players came and played in turkey we would have no problem. Since they dont we have a problem.

Well its because the TFF doesnt want GS to fall back of FB. We have the money to buy all the players we want but since GS doesnt they try to limit our success
