Ibrahimovic quits Sweden's NT!?

Our new manager Erik Hamren just told us that Ibrahimovic has told him that he is unsure of playing more caps for Sweden. My reaction to this is that he wants to put all of his energy in Barca.

However I strongly doubt that Ibrahimovic has played his last cap. It can't be the end.

IT JUST CAN'T

I'm still in shock. First we missed to qualify to our 6th straight playoff in WC 2010 and now this news?

I feel your pain. I hope he returns to international football, Ibracdabra must show his worth internationally too. Maybe he'll be back for the Euro 2012

This sucks man. I still can't believe it.

After the last game against Albania he told the reporters that he would continue as long as he had the strenght..

- We'll have to see. I haven't decided just yet. It has nothing to do with the manager change (Erik Hamren).

-It's a combination of alot of things, Family, my body and that we missed out on WC in South Africa has made my very dissapointed. The next important game is like what, in 1 year? We'll have to see..

This does not surprise me in the least.

He doesn't like it when the going gets tough. Hence, his inability to perform well in big games against top opposition.

This is a bitch move on his part. Failing to qualify should be motivation for him and the rest of the team not a reason to quit.

This is the single biggest reason why he is not a great player.

As u all know. I adore Ibra. He's my fav player and it hurts me deeply that he's considering not to play for our national team anymore..

It's nothing we can do, it's up to him what he wants to do and what feels best for him.

I'll respect his decision but damn don't let us down Ibra your the guy that should help us to qualify for Euro 2012.

His stats in Internationals are not bad 22 goals from 60 games.

Here are the teams he has scored against...

Malta = 6
Hungary = 3
San Marino = 2
Bulgaria = 2
England = 1
Spain = 1
Italy = 1
Holland = 1
Russia = 1
Greece = 1
Azerbaijan = 1
Croatia = 1
Iceland = 1

So, again it would seem that although he can score against top teams sometimes, most of his good work is done against weaker teams.
