Inter are getting even closer to signing Corinthians Midfielder Vampeta, after the 10 milloion deal looked dead. Why though, thats what i wonder, why Inter spends great deals of money on midfielders and forwards! Are defense took a great fall this year, after loosing Peruzzi, Panucci, Georgatos, we need to replace them! Does anyone agree?

the deal was not dead ever it was planned that vampete was going to come over during the winter break but due to number of injuries lippe and moratti would like to have him now and i agree about the defense taking a big hit and we need defenders not fowards i mean when ronaldo gets healthy and vieri 2 of the best strikers in the world why would we need 5 back up stikers ???
i think that inter should not singed keane and sukur and should have made a larger bid for trezeguet even though he is a foward but i agree that defense needs to be improved

Exactly. I think that Panucci should have been traded with Franck Lebouf instead of just put on loan. Inter also should not have signed Keane, but tried to get Roberto Carlos back, as well as trying to strike a deal with Lizarazu, which was a rumour earlier in the off season. Vampeta will surely add to our midfield, but he wont add to our defense, and thats what we need! Ronaldo does need to be replaced, and i think our forwards should only be these: Zamorano, Recoba, Vieri, Ronaldo, and Sukur. Thats it! and Midfield: Di Bi, Seedorf, Vampeta, Farinos, Zanetti, Cauet, and maybe Pirlo. We bought many young players this year, which is good to plan for the future, but why not buy talent, to become Champions! Defenders, i wish so much that Panucci and Georgatos didnt leave. Blanc stayed, which is great, but now we have Frey in the net, and to tell you the truth, i dont trust him that much....

i agree with you and disagree 1st of all replacing ronaldo would be very stupid yes he has been unlucky with injuries but i will tell you one thing when he gets back and becomes the player he once was then no wait is too long as for sukur i really would have rathered trezuguet and he proved why in the Euro final his goal and he setup woltords goal as for georgatos i wish he would have stayed but he was homsick and panucci would be nice had he stayed and obtaingin lizzarazu signature should have been a priority of inter

What i meant by replacing Ronaldo was someone to obtain his spot in the lineup until he is fully recovered. Id die if he left Inter. As for my nickname, Zizou, well, i LOVE Zidane and i think the is one of the Worlds Greatest Players if not the Greatest Player. And why do i support Inter? Because i only support the best of teams, Inter and France!
