General help
The MGC Chatbox Evo is really easy to use

You can :
  1. Send chats : you just have to enter the text in the dedicated input field and then to validate it by pushing the return key ou by clicking on the OK button.
  2. Format the chats :
  3. once you un-collapse the chatbox formatting toolbar by clicking on the BBCode button, you have access to different formatting options for your chats. You can format a chat by selecting a part (or the totality) of it and then select one of the buttons/list. You can also add empty formatting tags by selecting nothing and clicking one of the buttons/menu thus allowing you to add the chat text afterwards between these tags.*
  4. Access to the different channels : you can have access to different channels restricted to only some usergroupds or for specifics use of the chatbox. The different channels are accessible from the buttons on the left of the chatbox.*
  5. Edit your chats (or others chats) : the edition of a chat can be done by a simple double-click on it.*
  6. Use specific commands : some commands can be accessible in the chatbox depending on the will of the administrator(s) of your forum. These commands let you execute specific actions of formatting, management, etc... You will herebelow the information on the command which are accessible to you. You must notice that you are not forced to use the command prefixes (/command_name) when you use them in the channel they are attached to (except in the general channel).*
* : Depending on the settings chosen by the administrator(s) of the forum, you might not have access to all these features.

    Default Wanna help me out?

Alrite, in another thread "New Lass" I was telling about the footie site we're putting together.

We have a section coming up entitled "Kuule Suomi" which translates to about "Listen Finland". This is a section where our reporters from all around the world report about the past week in the country or city where they're stated, footie-wise of course. It should cover the most important happenings of the week, and it won't be too long a report that we're looking for - about the length of this post!

We're still missing reporters for the section (awfully hard to find any!) so maybe some of you guys would be willing to help out? It is a paid duty too, we pay 10 euros per raport (ie: per week) so it's not too much but it would help us out a great deal and you'd naturally get your name in the history books of Finnish football audience :)

Every report will be translated to Finnish by us and published on the site with the reporter's real name, whereabouts and email addy - plus, preferrably a picture.

I also tried clearing this announcement with the WSB by email but no one has replied so I'm giving it a shot anyway :) Hope this isn't a no-no area to cover, and hope some of you might be interested!

Ask away if you want to, or email me at helmi@kirvun.net to sign up as a reporter.

    Cheers!

All countries football is played in!

We only have one reporter from Cape Town listed at the moment, and a couple of maybes in the UK but I don't trust them all that much so UK is a go-zone as well. South Africa is the only country that's out of the picture. And well, Finland :)

    Well it seems very interesting.

But which kind of report do you want? About the clubs? About general soccer in the country? About the national team?

Another question: how good should the writer`s english be?

Well I live in Sao Paulo Brasil and my email is: rigalt@hotmail.com

    Bye, Ricardo

    Hi Rigalt!

I'll email you about it in a min but in case anyone else is interested in the answers:

the report shall be generally about the footie in the country or the city - whatever is the biggest that week. No details are needed, we get the stats for the site, but a general feeling around the biggest issues. For instance, if your national team for an upcoming clash was elected, the report would include what you and Brazilians in general thought were the biggest surprises or if it was an expected line up. The league can also very well be covered!

About the English - no particular skills are acquired! Just as long as we can understand what you're saying :) We will translate it to Finnish anyhow and we can liven it up to suit the language, if that seems necessary.

So nice to see people are interested in this project :) Please keep them coming!
