i was in konya 2 weeks ago to watch konya-Altay match. yes buildings, streets, factories n everythin look developed like an european city. BUUUT peoples mind is very very strict. i thought im in an arabic city. even in syria n lebanon people r more modern. also kayseri is the same so i prefer trabzon n adana instead of kayseri n konya. people in trabzon r ultra-nationalist but i dont think it ll be a big problem unless greece n armenia play in trabzon..

I didnt know about trabzon people are nationalist ...i thought Izmir is most nationalistic followed by Konya and Bursa...

And is Kayseri really so "arabic"???I thought its modern city with open minded people...they will host WC in basketball this year.

What part of Turkey, cities are most European, and most "rural"?Iv been to some cities and will back maybe even for WC in basketball if have money.

Trabzon is a very nationalistic place, although their population is mixed with a minority of people called "Laz" some of them consider themselves Turks as well. Konya has a mixed population of Kurds although it is predominantly a Turkish area. Kayseri is a mixed area you should ask Fenerliyim he is from Kayseri he will know what it is like more than any of us.

trabzon is one of the most nationalist cities in turkey but people r honest n friendly if u r a good person. konya is the most religious city.

kayseri is very modern n rich city but as i said people r too religious. u cant drink alcohol, cant kiss ur girlfriend in the street,etc..kayseri n konya r very similar.

western turkey is more european than others. u can visit istanbul, izmir, çeşme, kuşadası, bodrum, marmaris, kemer, antalya, alanya, etc..i can say many but these places r more touristic..

by the way u r serbian??

Yea u already ask me that i think...anyway i know those places u mentioned iv been in some of them...those are tourist places so im asking about cities who are not touristic and Serbia will play in Kayseri so ask for Kayseri.

I see Turkey as divided country...

Saw many pictures of Turkey and non-touristical cities as Adana,Eskisehir,Kayseri looks wonderfull to me!

Are all non-tourist places conservative? Is whole black-sea region like Trabzon?Rize,Ordu etc...

just what Altay said. Konya is very religious place .. There are very few night clubs .. and many long-bearded men heh .. you'd think you were in Arabia .. came as a surprise .. it was one of the host cities.

But above all, this is our national team and I'd forget about everything else when we are chosen to host the tournament.
When you consider the list, all the stadiums selected are new or will be built new and the SSS - as suitable as it may be - is going to be "old" in comparison. If Aslantepe was in the same situation then I would accept that the bid wants brand new stadiums to make the whole bid more appealing.

The other stadiums will 100% be better because they are/will be newer. I dont think it will be long before FB start planning for a new stadium in the next decade either.

I'd love to go but to get tickets for a Turkiye game would be just insane. I'd rather go on trips to foreign countries when we have qualified and not have to host a tournament to qualify for the damn thing.
