For portugal, Croatia And Holland the third match In The Groupstage Was No Longer Important.
Therefore All 3 Countries Played Their third Match with A Lot Of substitutes.
By Doing That they Broke The Flow.
Result: portugal, Croatia And Holland Are Out Now!
Cruyff And Van Basten deny That; I Am Convinced they Are Wrong.

Portugal played the thirs gama just with 3 of the usual player. I think that this raelly "broke the flow". But if very dificult to say if that is the explanation of the defeat.

Holland won all three games and kept the winning mentality alive so I don't believe there was any flow lost. Losing Robben was BIG!!!!

Pure BS.
Germany was playing way better than portugal. Even if portugal played like they did in the group match, they still would have lost against Germany.
Turkey was just really lucky against Croatia. Croatia got way more chances in the match.
And Russia was also 10 times better than Holland. But besides that, Holland didn't played the way they did against Italy - France. The best group won. No doubt about it.
