    Default Wtf is Arda's problem?

Around the 71st min of the Sivas match he started arguing with Servet, and then in the 73rd min he recieved a yellow card for playing too agressively, then Kalli decided to sub him off so he can cool down and think about what he has done, but Arda acted like a child and once he came off to be replaced by Mehmet Guven he walked straight passed Kalli and made a hand gesture at him and walked into the change rooms.

Apparently after the match he made up with Kalli and said sorry, but this kind of shit is not acceptable at all. Arda has been playing up for some time now and i can remember him having a dummy spit at the Fenerbahce match aswell.

I don't see Arda leaving as a huge loss to Galatasaray to be honest. He needs to realize that when he's playing in a big team, there are always going to be alternatives and he's never some sort of superior player who is indispensable to the squad. Look at Barca, even Ronaldinho gets benched. I think you have your answer in the question you posted. He acts like a child because he's not mature enough. Doesn't matter how much skill you have, if you're not mature enough to handle your million dollar life, you won't go very far in your career. There are too many examples of this in Turkey. And it's kind of meaningless to label somebody a "wonderkid" when all his downsides are disregarded because of his age; I mean what good is that doing to him? Look at the "wonderkids" playing in Europe. There are loads of players in Arda's age and caliber but only a select bunch deserve the term "wonderful".

Its all got to do with attitude aswell, the kid has attitude problems obviously. He needs to realise how this is affecting himself and those around him. I know if i was playing in the Galatasaray team id shut the heck up and listen to my coach, especially if he is doing something that makes sense.

I agree, we wont be hurt with his absence, but we still need him aswell, he has all that potential still even though his game has slipped up recently.

Yeh every player gets benched, where ever you play. I dont understand, he was complaining when Gerets was the coach that he never had a chance to rest, he always played every match in full, now he is complaing that he is getting subbed off and on.

It would be smarter for GS to sell him to some club willing to pay big bucks. With players like these you just never know if they'll consistently add something to the team, and it's better to make money off of them now than kick yourself for turning away from millions of very needed euros later.

I agree, GSshould try and get as much as theycan get for him and use that money to buy 1 or 2 players. Id say GS can get at least 5-10 million euros for sure.

Our media just ruins these guys, i mean everyone makes arda out to be zidane because he can pull off a few moves, there are a lot of turkish players who can do that and were all pumped by the media as the next zidanes, and now they are playing for crappy teams in 2a or denizlispor.

Its y i am happy nuri sahin never came to turkey, he would stop dead in his tracks.

Almost all turkish players have a sort of mentality which says "lemme work hard enough to make it to one of the big 3, after i sign with them, theres no need to improve myself"

Only a few players have not gone with that mentality and those are the players like Tuncay, Nihat, Emre, Tugay who ended up in Europe

Agreed, thats why Arda needs to leave within the next two years or else his career somewhere else is down the drain.

    Arda needs a no-nonsense manager.

Potential countries for arda would be

    Russia, Spain or Germany.

I doubt anyone in england will take him, i mean tuncay barely got in.

and he only made it because of Football Manager (thats apparently how they found tuncay)

I thought Tuncay's goals in the 04-05 CL got English teams' attention. At least that's what I remember reading. The guy did score a hat trick against Man U for God's sake...

lol fm database is horrible, Turker Tozar is the head FM, and hes just crap, every year they have to release an updated unofficial database for turkey.

They have volunteers who do all this research but Tozar doesnt even care, so theres always an unofficial one released.

btw fry, do u play fm or have u given up?

I haven't been playing much lately. It's been like 2-3 weeks. I got finals and if I start playing I won't stop for hours so..not touching that till the 21st. I was about to get promoted to Bundesliga with Hansa Rostock but the team just started going apeshit on me and I had like a 4 game losing streak for some reason. Now I'm at the middle of the table, pissed off.

For old times sake, I transferred Okocha

You are wrong, Manchester City, Fulham and Everton are making enquires about Arda.

I would not bother to go to Russia if i was Arda, perhaps Germany or Spain yes. Not France either.
