General help
The MGC Chatbox Evo is really easy to use

You can :
  1. Send chats : you just have to enter the text in the dedicated input field and then to validate it by pushing the return key ou by clicking on the OK button.
  2. Format the chats :
  3. once you un-collapse the chatbox formatting toolbar by clicking on the BBCode button, you have access to different formatting options for your chats. You can format a chat by selecting a part (or the totality) of it and then select one of the buttons/list. You can also add empty formatting tags by selecting nothing and clicking one of the buttons/menu thus allowing you to add the chat text afterwards between these tags.*
  4. Access to the different channels : you can have access to different channels restricted to only some usergroupds or for specifics use of the chatbox. The different channels are accessible from the buttons on the left of the chatbox.*
  5. Edit your chats (or others chats) : the edition of a chat can be done by a simple double-click on it.*
  6. Use specific commands : some commands can be accessible in the chatbox depending on the will of the administrator(s) of your forum. These commands let you execute specific actions of formatting, management, etc... You will herebelow the information on the command which are accessible to you. You must notice that you are not forced to use the command prefixes (/command_name) when you use them in the channel they are attached to (except in the general channel).*
* : Depending on the settings chosen by the administrator(s) of the forum, you might not have access to all these features.

    Default Penalty shootout

Can a player make a substitution before a shoot-out despite a game being played for the full 120 minutes?

I mean, it could be quite useful. Although, I remember a European game several years ago I think where a keeper was replaced by another just a few minutes before the end of extra-time.
If you feel you are being treated unfairly on SFN please pm me I will be as fair as possible

Eligible players are only those finishing the game. You could have a sub who doesn't get a kick, or even where the final whistle goes immediately after he comes on.

Maybe there's a case for allowing anyone in the squad...even if they had been substituted or didn't play at all. That probably sounds daft, but is it any more daft than coming on for two seconds and being eligible?

An interesting question I once saw concerns where a player has been red carded during 90/120 minutes, meaning one team has fewer players eligible. If the shoot-out is level after 5 each and then the next five, the full eleven is then at a disadvantage because they have their eleventh choice penalty taker whereas the 'sinning' team can go back to one of their original first choices.

Granted that would be rare, but PKs have been known to go well beyond 5 each.

It'll probably happen one day. No doubt the player scoring from both of his penalties and, thus, winning the tie for his team will be the cause of the red card of the opponent when he was the one who should have been dismissed.

From what I'm aware, BristolUK, the team with 11 players has to nominate someone not to take a penalty, so that both sides only have 10 eligible players.

Which, if I'm right, would probably mean 11 players all asking to be let off penalty duty. I can see it now...

"I'm not taking one, I've, er, hurt my leg"

"Well, I've gone blind in one eye so I can't take one."

"So? I've gone blind in both eyes."

    "Yeah? Well, I'm English!!"

    "Bloody hell!! Alright, you win!"

I remember the first time my parents caught me "enjoying" myself.

I was so embarassed, I almost dropped their wedding photo.......

lol man that was an awesome skit there, lol

but as to my opinion i see no problem with how the rules are already. if one team actually has subs left then if they want to bring on the player a couple of seconds before the 120 wistle blows no problem with me
