indeed i did not forget the draw in moldova for the ec 2000 qualifiers; not to mention that the ex-ussr teams have often created problems for turkey since they tend to play quite physical and defensive.

actually the swiss case was a bit more complicated than it was portrayed, with its roots going back to the swiss media writing unpleasant things about turks during about a month before the game along with annoying passport controls and security checks -consisting swears- with the trend continuing in the swearing, spitting and kicking the ball at the turkish staff in the first game; and in return to these with the turkish fans, media and players overreacting as a response (which was not a good choice in terms of a response); all of which set the scene up for the fights (not the beating of turks as a one-sided event) at the end of the game. i hope such chaos of politic crap won't be relived; not to mention that after a fairly decent fine the players and fans shall be obliged not to act as violent again, no matter what the opponent does as a provocation.

Come on, that's sport. You can't just go and kick a player in the back, in front of millions of people.

However, I'm sure that will never happen again (especially in Moldova)

    End of offtopic.

    Now let's make some predictions?

    I say:
    1. Norway
    2. Turkey
    3. Greece

Greece and Turkey are clear favourites but this time around I predict this:

    1. Turkey
    2. Bosnia

    if not that then

    1. Bosnia
    2. Greece (he,he,he)

    or 3rd option (last resort)

    1. Bosnia
    2. Norway

Hungry and Moldova are very tricky teams at home and could spoil some plans. Indeed very tricky group and there is another Balkan War in sight for the first two places! I love the crazy balkans just because they are f.u.c.k.e.n. crazy! I think only Serbs and Croats are missing from the list and that would definitely be the most interesting group of all times, the ultimate group of death! ( he,he,he) Too bad Serbs did not go into that group as it would create real drama.

It's now or never for Bosnia !!

Compering our groups before and this one, i think this is a very good one. It could be worse, much worse !! No nation from this group will play on World Cup in Germany 2006 !! And what is interesting, majority of Serbs are gonna cheer for Bosnia for a first time, becouse we play against Turkey !!

Fight for first two places will be between Turkey,Greece and Bosnia !!

Norway is good but not good enough !

Hungary & Moldova are good teams, but i dont think they can do much.

Malta is just gonna be a training game, and a good vacation !!

    Hello.
I'm from Hungary. I think Turkey will be the winner of our group and Norway will be the 2nd. Greece has 50%; Bosnia and Hungary have 25-25% for the 3rd place.
Dear Philopoemen! Please write some information about your team. We don't know Moldova very much in Hungary. What is the strongest 11? Who is the coach and what is the team-strategy?

Budaig: i'm the sort of fan that enjoys watching the game, nothing more
All I know is that our national coach got kicked 2-3 weeks ago, so I don't know if they elected someone else.

I remember that 1-0 loss to Greece. They scored an ugliest goal. The weather was crap and they scored a goal that had 1 out of million chance of ever going in again.
That 3-0 loss came when we were just starting up and we did not field a good lineup.

Try winning again in BOSNIA if you win then Greece has a top notch football team.

U.S.A. just trashed NORWAY 5-0 and it could have been 8-0.

In light of this score I will move up Greece on my table
    BOSNA PONOSNA
    TURKEY
    GREECE

    BEST GROUP EVER (THE EASIEST)
