General help
The MGC Chatbox Evo is really easy to use

You can :
  1. Send chats : you just have to enter the text in the dedicated input field and then to validate it by pushing the return key ou by clicking on the OK button.
  2. Format the chats :
  3. once you un-collapse the chatbox formatting toolbar by clicking on the BBCode button, you have access to different formatting options for your chats. You can format a chat by selecting a part (or the totality) of it and then select one of the buttons/list. You can also add empty formatting tags by selecting nothing and clicking one of the buttons/menu thus allowing you to add the chat text afterwards between these tags.*
  4. Access to the different channels : you can have access to different channels restricted to only some usergroupds or for specifics use of the chatbox. The different channels are accessible from the buttons on the left of the chatbox.*
  5. Edit your chats (or others chats) : the edition of a chat can be done by a simple double-click on it.*
  6. Use specific commands : some commands can be accessible in the chatbox depending on the will of the administrator(s) of your forum. These commands let you execute specific actions of formatting, management, etc... You will herebelow the information on the command which are accessible to you. You must notice that you are not forced to use the command prefixes (/command_name) when you use them in the channel they are attached to (except in the general channel).*
* : Depending on the settings chosen by the administrator(s) of the forum, you might not have access to all these features.

It's getting very frustrating!! I've advertised this site on quite a few boards and in chat rooms, but I don't think I've gotten one person to sign up I guess I should definately scratch 'marketing' as one of my career choices

But seriously, I've been to a few forums which have almost the exact same outlay as this one, and there's (literally) hundreds of different posters there posting everyday!

So, it definately can't be the 'look' that's turning people away from this.

I'm wondering, Tariq and Omar, <b>did you guys register this site with any search engines???</b> That would help a lot!

Anyway, some suggestions that I can give is get rid of the threads on which nobody posts on. You know, the ones that have like 08-19-00 as the last time anybody posted.

Also, maybe you guys can come up with some sort of 'reward' system for getting people to sign up. For example, once you get "X" people to sign up for WSB you automatically can become a moderator. Or if you already are a moderator, when you get "X" people to sign up, you become one of the administrators

Don't tell my friends at the Yugo board about this, but I'm kind of getting sick and tired of only talking with them j/k The more people we get, the more fun this board will become for everybody!

Hope you other guys have better suggestions then me

I definately agree about the search engine advice. I had this cracked application where you can actually submit your site to search engines, and it worked fine, because I submitted Plavi-Fans to many search engines. But it kept telling me that it logged my IP and was going to report it to my ISP (bullshit). However Ivan, I do not think Tariq or Omar are going to fall for that "Sign up and become an Admin" thing

I have advertised this site quite successfully in the past, and got many people to sign up. It all depends where you advertise it, I would recommend you advertise it at http://www.wldcup.com because there are endlessly many people. Advertising at XtraTime does not help much, since many people seem far too attracted to their board. Why ? Because there are people of other nationality than Serbians, Slovenes, Greeks and Croatians.

Ivan what search engine(s) have you been using? If you go to http://www.yahoo.com and search for FK Vojvodina the first result is the link to the Vojvodina thread at this board.

That's probably because this is the only site where the words FK Vojvodina come up

We are working on a future project that will bring the members flocking. . . await.

(One of the reasons why you don't see Tariq or myself as active on the board as we originally were.)

    Default Merging ?

I have plans to open a brand new website and have put forward my proposal to merge with WSB together to create the biggest soccer forum online.

I have the resources to expand and WSB have got the visitors that will enable us to become the biggest soccer forum online.

This is definitely a good idea for both parties and I'm sure everyone will benefit from the merger. Just look at the past history of mergers around the world, and you can tell what good it will do.

The offer is now on the table and its up to Omar and Tariq to make a decision, of which I hope will be a positive one.
