General help
The MGC Chatbox Evo is really easy to use

You can :
  1. Send chats : you just have to enter the text in the dedicated input field and then to validate it by pushing the return key ou by clicking on the OK button.
  2. Format the chats :
  3. once you un-collapse the chatbox formatting toolbar by clicking on the BBCode button, you have access to different formatting options for your chats. You can format a chat by selecting a part (or the totality) of it and then select one of the buttons/list. You can also add empty formatting tags by selecting nothing and clicking one of the buttons/menu thus allowing you to add the chat text afterwards between these tags.*
  4. Access to the different channels : you can have access to different channels restricted to only some usergroupds or for specifics use of the chatbox. The different channels are accessible from the buttons on the left of the chatbox.*
  5. Edit your chats (or others chats) : the edition of a chat can be done by a simple double-click on it.*
  6. Use specific commands : some commands can be accessible in the chatbox depending on the will of the administrator(s) of your forum. These commands let you execute specific actions of formatting, management, etc... You will herebelow the information on the command which are accessible to you. You must notice that you are not forced to use the command prefixes (/command_name) when you use them in the channel they are attached to (except in the general channel).*
* : Depending on the settings chosen by the administrator(s) of the forum, you might not have access to all these features.

    Default Looking for some advice...

Right so, i'm a rookie on a uni team right now and I just feel like i'm playing like crap. This is all a mental thing i'm sure, but it's really taking a knock at my confidence and it only seems to get worse and worse. Something my club team coach told me is just to be more aggresive... even though during club season my style isn't like that - but I KNOW in university I NEED to be like that. So really, i'm just looking for advice on how to get that aggresive mindset and also just the confidence. In my summer/club team season I always seemed to be goal hungry but here I just don't feel as goal hungry - i'm thinking a whole confidence thing too. The only thing I feel confident about lately is my 1v1 play and because i've been feeling more confident with that I feel that i'm improving in that aspect. This may just be rambling now so summing it up - i've just taken a big kick in the confidence.... i'm a striker and haven't scored a goal yet (be patient and it will come?.... doesn't work for me), I need to be more aggresive, and I just need some general uplifting advice. Also, any songs that inspire you to play better (preferably not the cheesy songs like the Rocky theme song)?

    CAN'T STOP!

As for the agression, I think your're talking about agression as in more of a mindset. However I know one time I was on a team and I was being overlooked for the centre spot and I knew I was better than these guys getting it, but I was much younger and inexperienced. Finally when I got the chance, I realised that I had to show the coach that i could be tough. I got stuck in from the minute I subbed in and I was sliding, something I hadnt really done b4, and I guess what I really did was ride the wave. Like once you do one thing that receives applause hold that sentiment and just keep going with it. I hope I didnt just ramble there that helped in some way.

The other thing I noticed, you say you're getting more confident with 1-v-1s. Use that! Take players on from the start, common, there's nothing better than the feeling of skinning some1, I suggest you ride that wave. If you take your defender on from the word go, you put them on the back foot and you're the one in control and the one thats confident.

    Good luck.

    Funny guy eh .

Dizzee, cheers for the advice. Not rambling at all, I know what you mean. I too am inexperienced at this level (prob the highest level i've been at), and i'm a rookie so yeah... obviously younger. I'll try to take on some people 1v1 this weekend too, hopefully if I can be successful there it'll help my confidence throughout the rest of the game.

I also did some extra work after training today with one of the assistant coaches because I felt I didn't have a great practice and it helped somewhat too. Thanks though, much appreciated advice. Keep it coming .

As what Dizzee Wahill said. I like it when people appauld my work on the pitch. Makes me feel to have every more reason to show them more of what I have. Builds your confidence to do something the next time.
