You can :

  2. Format the chats :
  3. once you un-collapse the chatbox formatting toolbar by clicking on the BBCode button, you have access to different formatting options for your chats. You can format a chat by selecting a part (or the totality) of it and then select one of the buttons/list. You can also add empty formatting tags by selecting nothing and clicking one of the buttons/menu thus allowing you to add the chat text afterwards between these tags.*
  4. Access to the different channels : you can have access to different channels restricted to only some usergroupds or for specifics use of the chatbox. The different channels are accessible from the buttons on the left of the chatbox.*
  5. Edit your chats (or others chats) : the edition of a chat can be done by a simple double-click on it.*

Default 10 highest scoring averages of modern football!!!

Based on the IFFHS latest records I have compiled a list with the top 10 scoring averages in first leagues since the late 50's. I didn't include averages before that times cause they seemed more like basketball scoring averages than soccer averages.

The top ten doesn't come as a surprise except a couple of guys who must be there because of the leagues they played in...

    Anyway:

    Player Goals Games Ave
    Pele 541 560 96.61
    Puskas 511 533 95.87
    Eusebio 342 373 91.69
    Mario Jardel 224 249 89.96
    Fernando Morena 264 309 85.44
    Romario 468 579 80.83
    Muller 405 507 79.88
    Victor Antelo 350 443 79.01
    Van Basten 218 280 77.86
    Ronaldo 205 265 77.36

As you see the percentages fall with the pass of time. From 96.61 of Pele to 77.36 of Ronaldo. After Ronaldo among the active players it is pretty tough to find anyone with over 200 goals and with an average near the high 70's or even in the high 60's. What does this mean according to you? Are soccer players getting worse or is life getting tougher for a striker...

    Good work there.

The statistics seem acceptable, but the flaw in percentages is that, if a player plays lesser games, and scores a lot in them, he need not neceesarily be a better striker than one who plays much more games, and cant match the ratio.

If possible post one of the same tables for National Team strikers too.

Jardel is (or was) a goal scorer, he scored many goals, mainly by headers, but IMO he wasn't that skillful.....very likely to RVN, score goals but has little talent -besides of scoring, of course, that is also a talent....

definitely agreed with whoever said more goals, less games in terms of avg.

and of course, it really depends what league they played in.

nevertheless, i do feel that soccer defense systems have improved overall, which does contribute to a harder life for strikers. more often than not now, it takes a string of good passing to get a striker the ball rather than what used to be, fantastic dribbling skills or one good pass....
