Re: Soccer Tricks
I just saw how awesome the Flip-Flop (ground Elastico) can be, even if you do it slow, I've been doing the Elastico for a long time but I'm not the best in the world with it, but today I did it slow and it still worked great.

Re: Soccer Tricks
Half-Maradona- (in a regular maradona you put your right foot on the ball and then roll the ball back to your left, and your rolls it to infront of you as your body twist) in a half-maradona you put the ball to your right, and then spin (without the ball) to your left, and as you're coming back around take your left foot and roll over the ball. It basically just puts your body between you and the defender, and most defenders won't mess with you.
Maradona Shot- if you have your right shoulder to the defender and the ball on your left foot, roll the ball backwards with your left foot, and spin left too, and as you're coming around just shoot the ball with your right.

Re: Soccer Tricks
Nike's got a new comercial out on the Half-Maradona, well its got like all these kids doing tricks and its got one kid spin then hit the ball, but I don't know where to find any of the shot, its just a signature move a guy on my League team does and I kinda borrowed it from him, it works good when you've got one guy to beat then goal.

The Mexican - One of my personal favorites. When you have a defender or two (preferably two) infront of you and kinda to the side, grab the ball with your ankles or insteps and jump with the ball past and inbetween them.
Sorry, I know, just one move, but I can't think of anyothers . . .
(Chiapaneco) - Cuahtemoc Blanco fron the Mexican soccer league did this move while playing with China or Japan, I dont really remember.

Yea I have a video of some guy doing it right between two defenders, and getting away with it...With great grace!
No-Name: Seen done by Ronaldinho, I'm not sure it'll work on normal players, but I've only tried it once. Take your right foot and roll the back up on your foot, and pop it up, then lean forward and bring your left foot up and kick the ball with your left-heel, from behind your right leg.

Re: Soccer Tricks
Tips:
There are basically 4 things you can do when you approach an opponent:
Left- going left of your opponent with the ball.
Right- going RIGHT of your opponent with the ball.
Nutmeg- going right between your opponents legs.
Over- kicking the ball or doing a trick involving the ball going over your opponent's head.
I would suggest you nutmeg the HELL out of a certain defender, as many times as possible before he catches on and as soon as he does keep his legs shut, then just go to the left or right of them, its EXTREMELY easy, because they will keep their legs together and it makes them alot less mobile and easier to just go around.

Re: Soccer Tricks
Hey mates, i'm new to this forum but have been reading it for a while, here is a cool trick i found:
Mo'Gy
This is a quite rare way to flick the ball up but like all tricks you have to follow the steps. The most common mistake with this trick is to try to do everything at once. Timing is the secret here. You must swing your leg up before you lift the ball otherwise your foot isn't in the right place to bang the ball into the ground to make it bounce up. A phrase I use when I'm teaching is 'Swing - Lift - Bang' and this helps people understand the timing.
Heres a link to the video - Mo'Gy clip (scroll down to the bottom of the page where it says "demo video")
