Tottenham continue talks with Arsenal's Wiltord
    tribalfootball.com - July 8, 2004

Tottenham remain in talks with Arsenal striker Sylvain Wiltord.
The French international is available on a Bosman and has fielded enquiries from Bayern Munich, Juventus and AS Monaco about the coming season.

However, Spurs are still the frame where new coach Jacques Santini has a good relationship with Wiltord thanks to their days together with the French national team.

He is the only flop Arsene Wenger bought and is the most expensive in Arsenal transfer history

I wouldn't describe him as a flop, but I suppose he could have done a little better, perhaps scoring more goals in the Premiership & Champs League rather than just the FA Cup. Btw, the biggest transfer record has been broken by the signing of Reyes now!
I am not bothered about him probably signing for Spurs, it's not going to be a Campbell-type transfer at all I don't think. They're weaker than us anyway!!!

I think Reyes is going to carry the curse,he will take over the flop title.Arsene Wenger strength lies in buying cheap FW and make them big not buying expensive and think they will be big! By the way,Reye just arrived at Arsenal but time will tell he will be a flop. Trust me,it a curse!

Well he hasn't been a flop so far, I think! He's a player with a bright future and he can only improve.
