Also, what was the last goal Ronaldo scored while wearing the yellow and green? I can't figure this one out...anyone know the date, the opponent, the time, the goal's situation?

Well it shows you are not watching the WC. Ronaldo was a god before, I agree, but now? PLS! His goals are so stupid he is like Inzaghi, Our Natilnal team did suck sometimes I agree, But so did Brasil, they always win with paid refs.

Turkey: Rivaldos acting was so dumb and pathetic, You guys got a PK that was no where! And Turkey didnt get one that was there.
Costa rica, the mighty put you in some troubles but you played better, Edmilson goal is one of the best. Against China, Well mighty china!
Basil didnt beat Ecuador in a Q game, so excuse me? who had problems Q? Get real.
And also, did you see the game against Belgium? The goal canceled by the paid linesman? pls! The goals of Brasil are so lucky! We would have won the group with has many goals hif the paid refs would t have canceld so many goals.

Yah, Italy is out...and Brazil is still in...and Ronaldo has 5 goals in only 4 matches...tied with klose for the golden boot.

And when we beat England, there will be no more room to diss Ronaldo, because we all know he'll play a major part in their World Cup victory.

Oh, and what's the deal with the paid ref thing? That's so stupid, because everyone knows it is impossible to occur. And if they did pay them off, perhaps Italy didn't pay enough...huh? huh?

Nike created the R9 for Ronnie but they were total flop. And also, Adidas created the Kaiser 5 ( my shoes), refering to Franz Beckenbauer.
Ronaldo was way better before IMO. now he is good. But not like before, now he is a very good F but nothing amazing.

In the World Cup, Ronaldo has shown everybody what he is capable of. I guess he has now scored more goals on the World Cup than the whole Denmark team, so I guess you should at least show some respect to him...

Ronaldo still has the speed...though not as fast as before...but of course. A healthy 18 year old is faster than his 26 yr old, with two knee operations, future counterpart!!! However, he has compensated the loss of a step, with the ability to just shrug defenders off left and right.

Go to the 26th minute of the England vs Brasil world cup match up...and watch what ronaldo does to Ashley Cole...and later in the game, when he basically completley pushes Ferdinand off the ball, and takes it to the box.

He is now a proven goal-scorer. His first goal vs Turkey was true athleticism. He beat three Turkish defenders to the ball and dove feet first. I mean, COMMON! That was a beautiful goal!

And it's not as if the Turkish defenders aren't strong, because they placed 3rd in the world.

In the end, Ronaldo scored 8 goals, tying him with Pele, and won the Golden Boot. He will soon be a member of REAL MADRID, who will win the triple crown (UEFA, CHAMPION'S LEAGUE, and BUNDISLIGUA)...and he will have accomplished everything necessary in football at the young age of 26...

IL Fenomeno...He is, was, and always will be, THE GREATEST!

It is not Brazil's fault if France, Argentina and others crashed out before they could meet Brazil. Brazil just did their job, they won all seven games (although the first against Turkey should end 1:1, but that would not change anything), so they deserved to win the title.

He is a center-forward of Brazil national team for the last few years, he scored 8 in the last World Cup, he became the world champion with his team. These are the facts. Considerations, if he is among top 20 or not, are personal opinions and are very relative and thus not very relevant.

Mr Ed isn't even the best striker at his club, how would he ever be the best in the world? What he USED to be is irrelevant. He's not the same, having a good world cup during Brazil's easy walk to the final doesn't make much difference.

He has 9 goals in La Liga so far (he was left out of many matches due to an injury or because he was not yet ready at the beginning of the season), which makes him one of the top scorers in La Liga so far. How can he be the biggest disappointment is beyond me. :rolleyes:
But I am sure all Ronaldo haters will claim he is just a hype or the biggest dissapointment.

Well, most of his fans know, that Ronaldo is not the player he was. But we still hope that he will regain his old form once. Claiming that Ronaldo is the biggest disappointment (which he is not, there are a lot of players who are doing much worse than him), won't win you a lot of friends here. Maybe in Inter forums, but certainly not in Brazil ones.

I agree, his performances now are below par, but he's still got 9 goals in La Liga and 1 in Champions League. I know a lot of strikers that have done much worse than this, so IMHO, saying Ronaldo sucks is exaggerated.

You are right, maybe Real would play better with Morientes or Guti - or maybe not, we'll never know for sure. But it's true that this year, Real plays worse than last year, however I would not say it's (only) Ronaldo's fault.

He scored 30 goals so far since his come back,and Vieri is good but not as Ronaldos level,cause only body part Vieri didnt use to score so far is his @ss,Vieris goals are ugly and not very sportsman like,the guy cant dribble nor run with the ball,he is very limited player.If he was Brazilian he would never play for our NT,even Jardel is better than him and Jardel wasnt picked for the world cup. get it
