Van Der Vaart is the future prospect of Holland....what do you all think?Is he good enough to join a bigger European club next season from Ajax....For me I think he is a talented winger and would do well in any league he decides to join....!

Vg is the ne Coach of Barcelona and he will probably add allot of Dutch to the squad and Van der Vaart can be a candidate.

You can actually think that Van Der Vaart can score around 20 goals a season in Spain, Italy, and England just like he does in Holland? He's the best player in Erdevisie but he's not gonna be the same player in Spain or England or Italy but as after a few seasons then he will probly be scoring goals on regular occasions.

He'll be able to play in the big leagues. I think it's best for him though if he spends another season or three at Ajax.

I think he should join a team like Lazio where there is Jaap Stam to guide him through.

There is no chance for him.Players like Simeone,Lopez,Moreno..etc are all joining Atletico Madrid.So i doubt he would be a starter.

Barca should buy Van der Vaart now, but loan him to Ajax for two seasons as part of the deal in order to drop the price.

Being a lazio fan,i would love Rivaldo to join us but who will afford his wages?More likely Lazio will ask Barca to pay £20m for Mendieta and not exchange Rivaldo.

You think Lazio will ask that much for Mendieta??? From what I've read (articles not posts from people here), it sounds like 15 million pounds is more realistic. I think they really want to offload him.

Mendieta remains Barca's top target.They are even willing to exchange Rivaldo with him.This shows his real value.Lazio paid well over £25m for him last season,naturally they would want around 70% of that fee.

I agree with you, he is a great player and attacker in Holland itself but I have the same thought that you have on him on moving to an even more better and talented European club!
