pardon me but i wrote this thinking that the 2-0 scoreline the last time i checked the score with five minutes to go would be sufficient but i guess i was wrong. i didn't realize that inter scored another 2 flukey goals in the dying minutes of the match. allow me to rephrase that now ....

its yours that is winless in its last 3 straight in europe and italy combined !

how am i eating my words when initially i stated that inter would lose to feyenoord before the series even began ? and secondly, i claimed that inter are crumbling. does 1 tie and 2 losses in inter's last 3 games not indicate this ? i don't know you tell me .....

see once again you are eating your words. Inter have beatan Brescia......and that constitutes 3 precious points. Thus ending their crumbling period.

they barely did it too at home. that match had to be one of the poorly officiated matches in recent memory. disgusting !!!

yeah like toni was offside there late in teh first half when the ref called back a perfectly legit goal. but wait, moratti never sees these "gifts" ......

imagine if baggio played ...... you're not worthy of being champions when you lose to chievo and atalanta at home and barely squeek by vs brescia minus baggio at home as well. that's disgraceful !!!

good point...but this is the case for both Juve, Milan and at a lesser extent Roma.

We all have slight difficulties...Juve lost to Perugia last season..this season they lost to relegation battling Parma.....so what does that say. Piacenza....and Venezia have held back the top 3 teams....(i think)

You also seem to have left out our spectacular victories over larger sides like Roma, Real Madrid, Valencia,......

We may have lost the most number of games out of the top 3.
But the reality is that...Inter have won more games than any other team in the league...justifying our position on the top.

Of the Baggio dimension...its fair to say..that a Brescia team with Baggio would be a whole different ball game....but we also had injury worries...

A returning Ronaldo...and not the dribbling nut of 3 years back.

i thought we were discussing this campaign.

anyway, concerning parma, sure they were battling to remain in serie A. but if you look at that lineup and observe it for a moment or 2, they're certainly not a serie B side, nor should they be a serie A tadpole either. they're a much tougher outfit at home than a brescia minus baggio would be on the road.

as for valencia, please don't even bring them up because you were fortunate the match wasn't declared over at the 45 minute mark. you squeeked out a goal in the first few minutes than sat back and prayed that the best goalkeeper in the world would steal one for ya. which he did. your luck ran out though which would explain why feyenoord outclassed you in every aspect over the home and home series.

Someone explain the Interisti obsession with their pre season friendly over Real Madrid? Is it an inferiority complex? Do they have nothing else to brag about?
