he just got hurt and might miss the world cup. i am a big england fan so this hurts. i feel bad for all of us but mostly for him personally. he was the target of much abuse after the world cup in 98 and bounced back from that. in 99 he helped united to one of the best seasons any team has ever had. he almost single handly guided england to the world cup. he has taken a captains role and no matter how much you hate england you still have to respect him. his performance agaisnt greece is one of the best i have ever seen. the team as a whole that day looked like shit and becks was the only one that i felt deserved it. this is a major blow and i feel really bad. oh well i guess thats part of the game!

Thats a big loss for ENG and MANU. He is one of my favs players. But he will be back in 2 months so there is still a chance for the WC.

Thats not very specific, I mean I personally never heard becks say he is the best, I alwasy heard him say that he is no better than anyone, same goes for other players that people think are arrogant. The only arrogant player I heard as Ronaldo, Desailly, petit and basically the whole france and some BRA players.
