Pls! Bati is one hell of a player and even if he dosent start he can be hella usefull. I mean Other than Crespo, who do you really have that is a goal machine? Lopez? Casas? Saviola is not experienced enough for the WC. I might be wrong. But I dont feel he will be very helpfull this time. For sure in 2006.
I think that one youngster that should be called is
Andres D'Alessandro! The guy can really become something if he has 2-3 good moves in the WC. Kinda like Owen in WC98.

He is more of a passer but it beats having 2 strikers who score loads of goals,you never know....they might be selfish and end up not scoring a single goal.

We don't need Batistuta, unless he hits top form again. We need Barros-Schelotto. He puts defenders under constant pressure with his pressing and breaks from midfield.
