Roma Want Vieri ...Keep Dreaming!!

Roma President Franco Sensi has said that he would love to buy Christian Vieri for boss Fabio Capello.

The Giallorossi Coach admitted on Sunday that the Inter striker was the one thing that he would want from the Nerazzurri after Vieri had scored the only goal in the Milan derby.

"Capello wants Vieri? Well let’s think about it then," said Sensi. "But I don’t think Massimo Moratti would ever consider selling him. Especially after he worked so hard last summer to keep him from joining Juventus."

Vieri has been in outstanding form this season, scoring 18 goals in just 17 League games. But his future with the San Siro outfit seems secure. Especially if the side go on to lift the Scudetto.

Meanwhile, Sensi has publicly praised boss Capello once more. "He’s the real man in charge," the President added.

"I’m simply a fan that is happy with what he is doing. Roma are not playing badly and I would say that out of the three teams who are fighting for the Scudetto, we are expressing the best football."

As for Capello’s future, he could remain at the Olimpico next season despite speculation suggesting that he was set to move to Barcelona.

However, some reports claim that the Nou Camp outfit are close to reaching agreement with Argentine Carlos Bianchi. The latter oddly enough did have a spell in Italy with the Giallorossi in the mid 1990s.
