I am a supporter of Bury Football Club who play in the Second Division in England. Due to a catalogue of errors we are now just two weeks away from extinction. We have been placed into administration and now have less than two weeks to raise £400,000. If the administrators cannot satisfy the courts demands that this figure is reached, THEN BURY FOOTBALL CLUB WILL FOLD. It is as simple as that. The club has less than two weeks to survive.
One fund raising idea that the club have come up with is for supporters to purchase a seat at Gigg Lane. We have 12,000 seats that are now up for sale. If you buy a seat, then your name will be placed on that seat. It is now imperative that we sell all these seats and move the club forward.

I've looked at the Bury site. There was a thread on the Forest clubs forum a while back about your problems.

As you know, we also have a few debts, so i can sympathise with you. The Forest board thought about putting us into administration around Christmas but we sold Jermaine Jenas to Newcastle instead.

Thanks for taking the time to look at our site. We managed to get over the first hurdle and are now back in court on 26th April when our fate will effectively be decided. Keep everything crossed for us.

Bury play in the 2nd division in England.

A small club - their neighbours are Manchester United!

With the way we are playing this season I could well have turned out!!! We are a club that is situated on the outskirts of Manchester and have the Premiership clubs of Manchester United, Manchester City, Bolton, and Blackburn all within a 20 mile radius of us. Although we are desperately struggling at the moment we were winners of the FA Cup at the turn of the century(twice) and as recently as 3 years ago were in the first division. At the moment we look to be doomed to relegation to division 3 unless the football gods smile upon us for the next two weekends.
