Argentina's rivals watch ahead of the World Cup

England drew 1-1 with the Netherlands last week in the Netherlands. Patrick Kluivert put Netherlands ahead, but Darius Vassell equalised for England with a spectacular overhead kick.

Sweden drew 2-2 with Greece in Greece, after leading twice. Greece equalised in the 85th minute.

Nigeria was knocked out of the semi finals of the African Nations Cup by Senegal last week.

In the friendlies none of the teams in this group managed to win, all draws :D but nigeria lost in the african cup

Let's look at the results from the friendlies from about 1 and a half weeks ago

England lost to Italy :cool: 2-1 at Elland Road in Leeds. Robbie Fowler opened the scoring for England in the 63rd minute, but an amazing goal from Montella levelled the match just 4 minutes later. In the 9oth minute, Italy won a penalty through debutant Massimo Maccarone (who played the Under 21 match the night before) and Montella cheekily stroked it past David James.

Sweden drew 1-1 with Switzerland in Sweden.

Nigeria drew 1-1 with Paraguay in London.
