What 2 European Cups and a couple of league championships? We'll get 1 European Cup this season, another next season and we've already got more championships and FA Cups then you lot.

Oh and 109 million in debt and we're still in the shits like Nottingham is, plus we've got JJ now, you're just jealous. :D

Jealous of what? All your trophies? 1955 is a long time ago!!!! They'd be a bit rusty now eh?

At least we've won something in my lifetime and we didn't buy it like your lot have been trying (and failing) to do.

And as for JJ , well isn't about time you produced some talent of your own instead of just buying it? And you weren't even able to pay for him in one go.

Face it , you're just the biggest underachievers of all time. :D

Actually we won the UEFA Cup in 1969, so thats slightly more recent than 1955!

and we have some classy young players coming through. The 2 Caldwell brothers are still young, and just recently graduated to the Scotland side (make of that what you will !). Stuart Taylor is England U-18 captain, and watch out for Michael Chopra, future star who will without doubt be given an extended run in the 1st team this season.

Btw, cheers for JJ, he's class.

are any of you Forest fans going to the Friendly against the Newcastle United (reserves probably), July 31st?

Interesting that it took 5 months to get a reply to this thread. :)

I won't be going to the Newcastle game. It doesn't excite me to be honest.

You mean the inter cities fairs cup? I was talking about major honours actually.

Listen i don't really want to slag off other clubs but when i first came on to this board (which is not run by Brits) I was a bit puzzled as to why some clubs had their own threads. That's why i posted the thread. I didn't expect a reply at all and it took 5 months to get one ( and he was a Forest fan).

Good luck to Newcastle and to JJ.

The Inter-cities fairs Cup is the UEFA Cup, Barcelona won the first two so what it's not a major cup huh? It's not the European Cup but it's still a major cup.

Newcastle finished 4th last season, maybe that's why we've got our own thread. Nottingham's in the 1st Division, if they could keep themselves in the Premiership for a while I'm sure they'd get a board, the history and the prestige alone should guarantee one.
