roma is the team i'm supporting in the champs league this year and as everyone knows i HATE barcelona SO PLEASE WIN.

barca actually won on the weekend believe it or not, and i think that's 2 games in a row now which is quite an achievment for them.

so a prediction:

rivaldo will miss 2 penalties in the first half

saviola will get tackled by samuel and start crying.

and the deciding goal scored by totti in the 85th minute will come from a missed puyol clearance, and because of his huge hair will fall flat on his ass, allowing totti the simple task of gathering the ball and rounding the keeper ... 1-0 roma

well roma almost (should've) beat real madrid at the bernabeu earlier so there's no reason why they can't win.

forget about the teams on paper and where it's being played for a second, and look at who's on the bench. capello and rexach. that's where the game will be won, so please, there's no contest.

there's no point having all that muscle on the field if you don't have the brains on the bench, especially in the champs league.

well kluivert did in fact play and scored the tieing goal.

i thought roma were the better team. barca only scored because candela fell asleep. totti played pretty poorly. so did rivaldo and that little chipmunk saviola. i can't believe how over-rated he is.

beside the last 10 mintues roma were great ! none of this defend/counter-attack all the ITA bashers rave on about all the time. they gave it to barca but poor execution let them down !

we still should be seeing better from the italian champs :mad:

i must say i saw the whole game.....and Roma played great. Hats - off to puyols for beating Candela and giving the cross... but really Roma would have won had it not been for Candela's little slip. Roma should've won - we'd be in first in the group. I'm so dissappointed (or however you wirte it). i expected a lot more. both team did not show anything of the best quality soccer. Barcelona is not that structured and where was Roma's creativity? and besides I guess the referee was not good at all.

i'm very disappointed with Roma's attitude at the bernabeu: the final score is fair to the teams,but IMO the giallorossi have missed a BIG opportunity,Barca is a side with evident weaknesses that evry good team should be able to exploit.
Roma wasted an entire half waiting for something to happen (?!),then had no trouble at all taking over,only to be punished by a Candela's mistake; but they should have created a larger cushion in advance! :mad:
