Argentina has confirmed they will start their World Cup warm-up with a friendly in Wales next week.
Mark Hughes' side will tackle the favourites for Korea/Japan 2002 at the Millennium Stadium on Wednesday, February 13.
The Welsh FA have already offered Argentina the chance to play under the closed roof in preparation for the Group F clash with England in the Sapporo Dome on June 7.
Wales have been led to believe that the likes of Juan Sebastian Veron, Kily Gonzalez, Roberto Ayala, Diego Simeone, Gabriel Batistuta and Javier Saviola, will all be in the squad.
Hughes told Sky Sports News: "This is a great opportunity for our players to show what they can do against one of the best sides in the world. It is a great start to our build-up for the Euro 2004 campaign."
Wales fit the bill as British opposition ahead of the World Cup, while a meeting with Germany in Stuttgart on April 17 will give Argentina more experience against another northern European team ahead of their meeting with Sweden.
Argentina coach Marcelo Bielsa is looking for a match against Cameroon to gain experience against an African football power to prepare for their World Cup clash with Nigeria.
