Gabriel Batistuta is one of the deadliest finishers in the game, but when a net is not involved the striker has real problems hitting the target.
Teammate Abel Balbo told a curious tale of their holiday in Argentina. “We went fishing on the Parana river and were trying to catch the Monchiolo fish."
"They are very special as you have to fire at them with a shotgun as they jump out of the water.”
“Well,” continued the Roma striker, “after a few botched attempts to get the fish, Gabriel somehow managed to accidentally shoot a cow that was standing on the hill above.”
“Only Gabriel could aim for a fish and shoot a cow,” he laughed.
Balbo did not reveal the fate of the unfortunate bovine.
