I can see us n Man U pulling away ovr the next few weeks. February makes or breaks r season.

2nd S'oton (H)

10th Everton (A)

16th FA cup Gillnghm/Bristl R (H)

19th Bayer Leverkusen (A)

23rd Fulham (H)

27th Bayer Leverkusen (H)

it is possible to win all 6 games (1st discount who we draw in the FA cup - at Highbury we r 2 strong for eithr) Fulham will try and play football - so we'll rip them up. S'oton have got a lot of points recently by having a go at teams, outscoring them (in yr case just letting them miss thousands of chances) - if they try that at Highbury they r in trouble - Arsenal will put them 2 the sword but they may sit deep 4a 0-0 - maybe hope to snatch a goal on the break thats more of a worry but if we can keep 11 men on the pitch and an eye on Beattie and Pahars we should b2 strong. Evrtn have Kevin Campbell (good record against us) and Ferguson back + Gazza hitting some form but we might have Jeffers back. A draw isn't a terrible result but we need to stretch clear and must go all out4 3 points. Our CL group of death hasn't seen an away team take a point in 4 games so far. If we could take our awesome league away form (W8 D5 L0 F26 A10 pts 29) into the CL (this season away in the CL W0 D0 L4 F1 A7 pts 0) 4 points against BayL is a good return but 6 would mean a win at home to Depor on March 12th would put us in the 1/4 finals b4 the game away2 Juve - don't wan2 need a result at the Deli Alpi! At the end of Feb 4Arsenal to have 56points (definitely top) b in the 1'4 finals of the FA cup and have 9 points frm 4 games in the CL with Depor(and their nightmare away record, aprt frm that 1blip at Old Traffrd) at home would put us in serious position to win some silverware this season.

found this old thread
we disapointingly drew at home to Southampton (last minute Jo Tessem equaliser)
then won evry single league game for the rest of the season!
we battered Gillingham
and got the four points I predicted of Bay L (should have been all 6 - Kirsten scord a last minute equaliser at the BayArena)
but failed to win all 6 as I wanted and Depors "nightmare away record" didn't stop them coming to Highbury and giving us a doing. But it was a key month Everton kicked off our winning streak
this feb we have

1st Fulham (H ) which we won 2-1 obviously

9th Newcastle (A)

15th FA Cup ManYoo (A)

18th Ajax (H)

22nd ManCity (A)

26th Ajax (A)

I would except a similar set of results to last Feb (1 draw and 2wins in the league, a win in the FA Cup and four points from the CL double header)
it would put us in an even better position
we would have 60 league points and 8 CL points
obviously ManYoo away is a slightly different proposition to the Gills at Highbury (Parlour scored his first of the season - screaming volley in off the bar)
That february was a lot easier than this one though, we have four away games and only one midweek CL clash at home left.
Newcastle will give Woodgate his debut, they look awesome @ St James this season - Jenas is on top form
manYoo at OT is obviously scary- would take a draw but prefer to beat them there
If we could get all 6 points of Ajax we would basically be through
Fowler has a ridiculously good record against us and Anelka ahs a point to prove.
Lets hope we can have another strong February.

the feb run was ok:
1st Fulham (H )
which we won 2-1
9th Newcastle (A)
a 1-1 draw
15th FA Cup ManYoo (A)
a 2-0 win
18th Ajax (H)
a 1-1 draw
22nd ManCity (A)
5-1 away win!
26th Ajax (A)
and a 0-0
I said "I would except a similar set of results to last Feb (1 draw and 2wins in the league, a win in the FA Cup and four points from the CL double header)"
nearly got it - 1 draw and 2wins in league as requested
got the FA cup win
but only 2points not 4 from the CL
Ultimately if we go through anyway (must beat Roma on tuesday) those dropped CL points don't matter.

our next two games - Chels away this evening and the RomaCL game. Our almost as key as feb was
I suppose every game is a cup final from here on in!
