I think that Inter should take this game personally. The last time we played it was in Bologna, and we definetely got embarrased by this team. The score was 3-0. No more, no less. So I hope Inter remembers this, and uses it as an excuse to get revenge, so we can beat them 3-0 also.

My prediction: (Inter 3-2)
Though they play in San Siro, dont think that Inter will win this easily, if they do. Bologna and Inter have always have had some rivalry, and have always played Inter very strong, so expected them to come out ready to play, after coming out of a disappointing 1-1 tie against Venezia.
Also, expect Inter to try scoring some goals against their old, veteran goalie G. Pagliucca, after being scoreless the last time they faced.
Good luck to Inter, and I hope no one gets hurt or injured... (any comments?)
FORZA INTER!!!

Well, with Cordoba out, who do you think should be put in defence in place of him? Also, With Vieri coming back, who should be taken out, Zamorano or Recoba? Or should we play with a three-man attack?
I would say with the whole team playing so well, no one deserves to be benched, but obviously we can only have 11 players on the field at one time. My suggestion is play Blanc, Simic and Georgatos in defence. Panucci should continue to play on the right flank. I think that he did very well on the right in the Lazio match. Without question, Zanetti should continue to play on the left flank. Seedorf, Dibiagio should play in central midfield (if Dibiagio is suspended, can put in Jugovic, or Cauet) I will suggest a three-man attack...........Recoba a bit behind with Vieri and Zamorano or Baggio in front (Bam Bam and Baggio each playing one half). If Vieri is seriously out of form (he usually takes some time to come back from an injury), Baggio should replace him, and Mutu should have some game time at some stage of the game, substituiting one of the forwards. Mutu and Baggio can play pretty well together.

FORZA INTER!

Didn't we play Bologna last in the Coppa Italia, Farid? I don't recall which was the last match with them. . .

Anyway, I think that this will be a very tough match, even though it's in the San Siro. I don't know what kind of attack will be used, but I'm hoping for a three man attack as Tariq proposed.

I hope Inter can continue playing well and as a team. FORZA INTER

This is a really old thread Devious. I'm not really sure why Vlatko_Coco replied to it yesterday when it was so old, but anyway, it's best if we ignore it as it is quite confusing.

Cannavaro: Inter ditched me

InternazionaleFabio Cannavaro has claimed that he was "ditched" by Internazionale this summer.

Italy's captain, who was sold to Juventus three days before the summer transfer window closed, said he had wanted to remain at San Siro.

But now Cannavaro says he plans to finish his career in Turin.

Speaking as Italy prepared for their upcoming World Cup qualifiers against Slovenia and Belarus, the 31-year-old said: "Internazionale ditched me three days before the end of the (transfer) market, so I knew I didn't have the club's faith.

"Now I've signed a four-year deal with Juve and I hope to finish my career there."

The former Parma and Inter defender has been one of the biggest positives in Juventus' unbeaten start in Serie A, bringing solidity to a defence that gave coach Fabio Capello cause for concern last season.

Cannavaro's form so far this season has also helped silence critics who believed Inter were offloading a below par player - he spent time last season on the sidelines as he struggled to recover from injury.

However the player himself insists that this was not the case: "The only regret I can have is that Inter sold a player that is now completely recovered. I said many times that I wouldn't have left Inter without showing who I was.

"But then they sold me."

Cannavaro also criticised Inter's high turnover of staff: "At Inter there are too many changes. I remained there for two years and (in that time) there were three coaches and many players.
"This is the reason why Inter don't win."
