Recoba's contract is going to expire after next year. .I think. .and I hope Inter re-sign him. Sure it's maybe a little early to think about this, but Inter needs Recoba. At times he's not that great, but at other times, he's fantastic. So, let's hope Recoba gets re-signed.

Comments, opinions?

It's not too early to think about it. If gone, Recoba would be a terrible loss. We need him badly.

I definetely agree. Recoba deserves to be re-signed by Inter because he has, with no doubt, been incredibly critical and useful with Ronaldo out, and Vieri getting injured off and on. He partners up great with Zamorano or Baggio, which have brought good results...

...the problem isnt in RECOBA...as it wasnt in SEEDORF...PIRLO and a whole legion of brilliant players that were idioticly sold from INTER....the problem is in the INTER fans...a lot of them started to watch INTER and seria A...last year or the one before that....;)....and they dont really know about the recent past where RECOBA and some other asskickers who unfortunately left INTER,single handedly carried INTER on their shoulders...RECOBA has did lot more than RONALDO..in fact in RONNIE'S first match for INTER....RECOBA stole the spot light and the show from our "HERO"....:D....i loved SEEDORF too he was one of my favorite players...the same happened with him that's why i always mention him when i speak about RECOBA....remember what he did the second half of the season???he equalised against a lost match against JUVE...and on the end where we were humiliated form LAZIO'S second team CUPER didnt even played CLARENCE....PRETTY COOL eh???
fortunately a MORATTI sees the talent that shines from RECOBA...and it's pretty obvious that he wont leave INTER...

and OMAR...he sometimes play geniously...and sometimes bad...but that's becouse he isnt played regulary...it's a damn shame to watch RECOBA and MARTINS on the bench...when they are NUCLEAR talents and their qualities are universal and immense......if RECOBA isnt good than i wont mind if he's sold...but everyone who has a slight idea of football knows what kind of player he is...one of the most usefull players arround and there's no thing that he cant do on the field...to waste that kind of TOOL is idiotic...INTER wont find a player like RECOBA if he's sold...perhgaps a world class striker but not a forward with that much characteristics...of course if we can sign RONALDINHO...we could sacrifice ALVARO...but if there's something imossible in football than that's RONALDINHO joining INTER next season...:ronaldo:...

Isn't it weird how its been almost five years... to be preciese fifty-eight months later and we're in the same exact position! Recoba STILL has the inconsistent tag and suprise, suprise his contract expires next year (June 2006). Btw I remember Ronnie's debut. lol. (very first Inter match I watched actually) I was very impressed with el chino... at the time I was like "holy**** I didn't know that asian players were that good! (since I thought Recoba was chinese or something. lol) Then in some mini documentary (I didn't have the internet then) I found out he was Uruguayan.

that`s why I`m repeating this old thread, Recoba will leave us next year or will remain with us here.. so do we realy need him, could he be useful for Inter? or may be it`s time to let him go and shine.. yes and finaly shine in any other team and propably another league, I`m one of the Recoba belivers.. he is the most player that stole my heart when he just tough the ball my heart start beating like I`m watching a horror action movie :D
I also love Inter, all my life is in Blue and Black, you can`t imagine that.. from my lances in my glasses to my car, all in blue and black, my point is Recoba + Inter isn`t working togther, and I`ve been disappointed since many years because Recoba hasn`t BEEN allowed to BE given the real chance to play many games to find his full form.
I belive If Inter sold Recoba yes he`ll play in a small team but for only haf a year, cause since he start to kick ass the big teams with the small team he`ve joined, some big team will buy him and in this time he would be able to play many games and will be in form... he `ll get his best and be in forum and we`ll start crying for letting him go.

Well as I see it if Mancio insists on giving Vieri such a prominent role in the club... it would be best for Recoba's career if he left to play for Sampdoria. He would be the main architect in their attack. (well of course with Novellino the coach and all :D) Simone Inzaghi and Flachi would each try to fight for a spot with el chino. They also have Kutuzov on the bench. They should easily make the UEFA Cup... maybe even get the 4th CL spot if Roma underachieves.

If Recoba plays in the UEFA Cup... that would be a good way for him to attract the attention of bigger clubs.

It is clear that Recoba does not want to go.It is also clear that Mancini doeds not want him to go and Morrati will do all he can to get Recoba to sign a new contract and that is what assures me.If Moratti wants it he gets it.Mancini has to start playing him more often after the Samp performence.

I insist Better for him leaving Inter, better for his career,. but I think also it would be not good for Inter, I mean who`s gonna save the day in situations like Samp`s!!? :D
If Recoba played many games and screwed in only one Mancini won`t give him any more chance and he won`t be patience with him as he did with Vieri, I can see Recoba now entered a real hard chalenge and he must win it, it`s to be or not to be.
I realy hope he can make it to top, for his good and Inter`s
