what about Mexican clubs?

So does anyone watch mexican soccer? if they do what teams do you guys like? i like cruz azul and the chivas, well i like all the teams but those are my best. i know that someone has to watch mexican club soccer its a big thing it is always on every saturday and sunday. one thing i dont like is that i have playstaion and i have fifa 2001 and they have like all the countries and all their clubs but not the mexican clubs. does anyone know why not? is it because there always changing going playing for the united states or what? just would like some feedback. :confused: :question:

I truly dont know why my favorite team is Atlante.

By far mexico has the best league in North and South America... They do pay the most out of the two continents... And their club teams have done well in international club turnaments.

The Mexican National team will certantly have their hands full in the WC, but I think they stand a good chance of moving on to the next round, Croatia and Italy are European powerhouses, but Mexico has shown that it can compete with the top european teams (as their 98 performance can attest) also they have proven themselves against their South American counterparts by going to their Copa America and placing 5 out of the 8 times they have been there... I was a little worried back in the early stages of qualifying because they just didnt seem to have the heart. But when Aguirre took over as coach we got to see the old mexico, a team that doesn't give up and plays with heart.

Necaxa made it pretty far in a huge club tournament last year.

well i definately agree with you epic...that the mexican team is back again since they got their new coach javier....it think he is doing a great job...and as u said they dont give up as easy...this is the team that im looking at...i like the move aguirre did, putting borgetti in instead of hernandez...i think it was a good move...i dont that any other coach would have done that, that prooved to be a good move...borgetti scored some crusal goals for the mexican team....i bet at first some ppl were talking about that decision javier did but now they are thanking him...as for the mexican team for the world cup...i know they drew a hard group but i think they can pull through and make it to the next round...mexico vs. italy is a game that i want to watch that should be an exciting game.

well Jaimito that could be, but javier tends to put his good players in from the beginning and then put the "ok" ones in the last final mins. i dont exactly know why hes not putting palencia in, i think hes a good player. it may as well be that the coach just doesnt like him, but i dunno. but i cant wait for that game. italy vs. mexico. what a game! i hope its an exciting one.

Well i am new to this club. My favorite team is Tigres de UANL. They play at a fast speed. They have some of the best forgein players in the Mexican league. The best has to be the "checo" Walter Gaitan and "cookie" Nestro Selvedra

They are hated becuase they one a lot of titles in the last 20 years and they have a lot of money, they are owned by televisa which is a very powerful TV Station that owns all of the spanish channels in the US.
