Enough of DP

DP shouldn't be starting for the NT anymore. It's time he gets dropped at least to the bench, if he's even called up at all. He's screwed up too many times, and in situations where he could won the game for us. I think we've all waited for him long enough, and we're out of patience.

There's not enough room for 3 number 10's on the team, and since Fiore and especially Totti are performing well, DP should be taken off the team.

He didnt get dropped because the coaches are much more intelligent than you chelsea1 are and there guess was right, he is/will be back.. I believe you didnt see his goal against Napoli..

Juve Fan, I like Del Piero, but I think that there are at least 5-6 strikers that are more deserving as starters for the azzuri than him. So what, he scored against Napoli ?!?!?! Big Deal, my grandma could have scored on a bicycle kick against Napoli.

Mihajlovic, but when Delpiero is back to his performance (which everyone expects within the next 2 games) I think he is the number one choice in te Italian NT .. right ?

Del Piero is a decent striker n' any striker could lost his form sometimes n' we should give them some chances to improve themselves.I didn't see any striker that can take his place except for Vieri n' Montella

When del piero is back I believe he is the best choice for the attack.. However I believe that only Totti can come close.. Vieri is too injury prone plus I dont think he is very talented.. He is just strong..

Del Piero is very talented, no doubt, but do you really think he comes close to a Christian Vieri ? I think of Del Piero more as the guy who sets up the goals, and sometimes scores, more the technical guy, the head of the game, sort of like Mijatovic once was. When Vieri is fit, I believe he can score close to 40 goals in the Serie-A, he is unbelievably strong, and skilled up front. I dont think anyone should question Vieri's position when he's back, because he is the best the azzuri has.

Thats exactly what I said.. He is too strong but not as talented.. Anyways he is good no one can deny the fact but I dont enjoy watching him play as much as I enjoy watching Totti or Del Piero..

He is talented and no doubt a very good player but not as good as Totti!
And when Vieri comes back he should be the other one!

totti is riding on a high wave of confidence and to date looks more efficient than del piero. however, totti never had to recover from knee surgery and del piero has. i believe that it'll take another 2 years until we see the real del piero but when he returns totti will take on his familiar role as alex's sub.

totti on his best day cannot even shine del piero's shoes before he was injured!!!!
