Brazil are lucky to be ranked in the top 20 let alone top 5!!!!!!!!!!!!

Can anybody understand why Brazil are ranked so highly in the Fifa rankings, when they are struggling to qualify in their group (badly), have had the worst run of results in a single qualifying campaign ever and the worst set of results over the past few years...... 1st of all here are the rankings......

Thats not the record of the 2nd best team in the world is it???

Irelands record is
P 12 W 8 D 4 L 0

That means that Ireland have only to win 2 games in 11 to ay least equal Brazils record. I will remind people that you lose points for losing games so Brazil are already 9 games (defeats ) deficit also. I dont think that Ireland should be second, bt they should be alot nearer Brazil (whether Brazil be ranked even 15th or 19th).

Would you be refering to U2? I think that they are the best band around at the mo. I am sick of at the 'produced' regurgetated crap that is drowning the airwaves at the moment. I thought tha U2 had ben losing it a bit, with Zooropa and Pop (from their legend albums like Joshua tree etc), but then they totally blew all aside with their new album 'All that you cant leave behind', its priceless and a must for real music-lovers everywhere. Songs like 'Walk on' and 'Stuck in a moment' are just excellent and vintage U2. I dont love them just because they are Irish but they do make us proud (once Bono doesnt start talking crap!!!). i was so sorry that I missed their 2 gigs in Slane (its in a huge field, 100,000 at each one!!). One of them was on, the same day as the Ireland - Holland game, and they showed the match on a big screen!! i would of loved to of beenm there for the celebrations!!! The crack was good and partys were heard in the wee hours of the mornin, oh yes!!!!!! I hope that you were talking about U2!!!! Oh yeh, Brazil arent good anymore !!!!!;)

zooropa was OK. pop was disasterous but all that you can't leave behind is back on the right track. i don't know if i'd rank it in the top 5, but its far better than anything they've released since achtung baby which is, song for song, my favourite. as you can see, i'm a gigantic fan of the greatest rock group ever created and have gone to see them 8 times here in TO where as like in any other place on this world, are immensely popular. i guess that's why i've always maintained a soft spot for eire.

Who cares about the rankings. I just hope my Brazilian thoroughbreds perform on the pitch. No bigger test than next year and we will be up to winning it if we dispense with the 3 central defender formation and pick some more creative players.
