Well I believe that this is the clash of the two premiership favourites. If United lose, they would be a bit far back at this stage of the season, but anything can happen, particularly from United. It will be an interesting game, one I think which would probably end in a draw.

A chant from the Liverpool supporters during the game.
"There's only one Jaap Stam"

Yeh, I believe Stam wanted to go to lazio so bad he still talks of missing united. Mickael Silvestre has alos spoken out against Fergi, do you want him as well??? Some players are just in italy for the Lira , not because they love the League!!!!
How about this chant " theres only 1 jaapy Stam , and he only Loves United , Theres only 1 Jaapy Staaaaaam". I wish him the best and hopes he gets as much from Lazio as Veron did.....

Srum, Stam was invited to go form United after a book, I know you dont read but hey, he published and it said some stuff about the United locker room, and the team didnt like thsi so they invited him to go, and he could have gone anywhere but he chose Lazio and no he is not making that mich more actually he is making the same so please. And Veron says he is not like in it in MANU so he said he wants to go back to Lazio, hey dude too late!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The problem with Stam indeed had to do with his book, in the book he stated a few facts about his transfer to Man Utd, from which you could conclude Ferguson had didn't follow the transfer-regulations. This made Ferguson look very bad, so he decided to get rid of Jaap Stam.
It's clear Stam didn't want to leave, in his book he even said that he would never play in the Italian league.
In Verons' case he actually didn't want to leave but was forced to leave.

They invited him to go!! You sad git, they forced him out. Have you been to his website, he still talks of missing united. So when Eric Cantona Kung-Foo kicked a fan in 95' he was in fact invited to do so?? i bet Staam got a similar but not so physical response in the dressing room!!!you are like a blind sheep grazing ina field of wolves, you cant see what the Fukk is going on and your hearing isnt the best .
And by the way It boy , I dont have to read his whole book to know what he said. At least I can understand people and what they are actually saying , instead of letting that primative monkey in the turning wheel in my head, let me scribble down ssome letters that seem to form fair sentances and posts... Can you talk while not drooling ? I didnt think so
And Veron says he is not like in it in MANU so he said he wants to go back to Lazio, hey dude too late!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Heres my quote
I wish him the best and hopes he gets as much from Lazio as Veron did.....
where did I say tha Veron wanted to leave Lazio in the 1st place ? I am sure Veron made a fortune at Lazio like most of the players they import , get..I know that he only left because of the passport scandal. Just goes to show wher Lazio's loyalties are, any player in trouble and they dump them quicker then a $10 dollar hooker!!! Who needs enemies when you have your club backing you in such a spineless way. At least I aknowledge what is true and not what my head compensates for in fantasy football and stats!!!! What Stam did was stupid, I dont wish he was sold , but there is a strict policy of secrecey within the ranks there, so anybody who tries to compare that situation to Verons is wasting theior time. United looked after Cantona when he kunf-foo kicked a fan. Most clubs would of gotten rid of them. We protect our own when they need us (and when the board don’t get in the way)!!!

sometimes Drum you amaze me for your..........stupidity.
Cantona "kung-fu" kicked a a fan for leeds and guess what SMART ASS!!!!!!!!! ManU didnt let him go cuz the FIFA suspended him to play for I htink 2 years!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! so OF COURSE MANU dint sell him, to who would have they sold him!!!!!!!!!! if he couldt play! and Who ever said anyting about you, from your post here and in other threads I made my self an idea of what type of person you are. You always post this posts that take place no where and have no sense at all. every one in the board knows this!!!!!!!!! so dont wonder why people wont answer you sometimes.
and Stam might have not wanted to go but he said to La Gazzetta, that he loves it in Lazio and he thought he wouldt have been so. And Veron HAD to leave cuz Lazio needed money and wanted to buy sucky Mendieta. Bad deal to me.

Cantona wasn't suspended for 2 years. He came back that year i believe. And it wasn't FIFA who suspended him I think it was the Premiership, i think.

gb wrong.
he got suspended for I htink 2 years or 6 months but he couldt play for al ong time no where. thats why he reatired after a little.
From red11.org:
Black day of his career 1/5/95: five minutes into the second half at Crystal Palace Cantona received a red card. On his way off the pitch the Palace fans yelled at him and Eric took the situation into his own hands tackling Matt Simmons with a breast height karate kick. He was rightfully banned for the rest of the season. Eric Cantona accepted his punishment and came back a reformed character to help United win the famous Double in '95-'96.

Cantona was suspended for 8 months in the EPL. This meant that he could of moved abroad or United could of cashed in on him. Stick to Italian football , you dont have a clue of amything outside it. It was a crystal palace fan !!!
And Veron HAD to leave cuz Lazio needed money and wanted to buy sucky Mendieta.
You said this twice, where did I say that he wanted to leave, or do you repeat yourself because you have nothing else to say???

Drum, Cantona didnt go anywhere else cuz one, no one wanted him, and 2 MANU maybe didnt want to sell him? and plus he was pretty old. And please, I know more than you for sure, also outside ITA soccer.
The irony.....(ivan,2001)
And ok crystal palace, leeds now what you wanna kill me? cuz I got a wrong team? or do you attack me on this stupid little things cuz YOU got no argument. and what? I nevre said you said anything!!!!!!!!! wake up and start reading! I just said that Veron didnt want to leave much but had since, they had to buy Mendieta! where do I cite you there?
Old? As far as I know, Cantona is 34 years old now and that would mean that he would be around 28-29 when that incident occured....meaning the supposed prime of his career...to add to that one of the best players in Europe at that time... If no-one would buy him, they are so blind it's not even worth discussing.

"no one wanted him"?!?!?!?
Dude, even in Brazil it was a widely-known fact that Cantona was an extremely valuable player, and a lot of people wanted him - I remember distinctly reading about Barcelona, Juventus and Inter making bids for the Frenchman when he was banned. Man Utd's refusal to sell him was easy to understand, too: he was a superb striker who had simply been banned for a while, which wasn't a good enough reason to let him go.
Idols are worth more than just their monetary price, if you know what I mean - and unless I know even less about English soccer than you do, Cantona was an Idol in Manchester.

Finally someone smart: Garrin!
Well any way you put it Cantona was not sold for reason( in general) I do recall him getting banned and that play in some french team, and thats when he said something like Frenach soccer or the league is sucky. GOLA, 34 now? I tink he is 36-37!
Anyway, after all this mess of who ever is right, I was just trying to answer Drum, some player are in Italy for the Lira, which is totally not true. example: Figo switched form Barca to REAL! WOW I see that drum on for the lira thing is right? how about the SOME players are like Figo! if you know what I mean! \

What does tha prove . the only team in Spain (or even the world) that seems to be able to compete with Itaian wages and prices for players are Madrid. Not even Barcalona could resist their Money bags approach. And like I said in another post, Madrid have the local council to give them cash any time they need it! ( they were paid £100mil for a training pitch) Everybody knows that Madrid is so important to their economy and popular that they cant afford to let them go down so they bail real out whenever they need a hand, why do you think that real are always in Debt yet they manage to spend like money is no problem. Who else in the world could afford the money spent on Figo or Zidane? Italian clubs are far richer then most countries, thats 1 of the reasons (notice I said 1) many of the worlds best play there. Name any other team that has managed to outbid an Italian club for a player!!!!!:D
