BUffon got injured in the friendly against Norway today and won't play in EURO. Abbiati who is playing with the juniors will get the call to be startin goalkeeper.

It's bad news in a sense, but i'm sure Abbiati will perform well.

The worst thing abouth the whole incident is that he got injured when John Carew put in the winning goal. To bad for you guys, though. I think that it was good that we managed to win against you. Think of it as a revenge for when you beat us at the World Cup Finals

Toldo may have been the second choice originally, but according to italian-soccer.com Abiatti has been told to be ready for EURO, even though he's playing with the U21's.

I'd take him over Toldo.

i agree with gambine that abiatta should be picked over toldo and this is horrible luck for italy although abiatta should do just fine i mean 1st vieri now buffon???? who's next ??? good luck in euro
