but who will leave first?

Well I think that Raul is good, but not THAT good. I mean I dont recall any spectacular goal. RCarlos should come to ITA! Zidane wont go, and Figo I dont know! I mean its clear that Zidane is useless in REAL! Perez is one spoiled dude!

I agree that it was dumb of them to pay all that money to get Zidane, when they had already spent a ridiculous amount on Figo the year before. Now I hear the players may be forming two camps on the team, one around Zidane and the other around Figo. Worst thing that could happen.

As was seen during the time Zidane served out his suspension, the team works brilliantly without him. Now they have to find a way to make it work with both him and Figo on the field. I have my doubts.

yep, And they say that Zidane and figo are head to head to each other, they dont like each other at all, of course, Figo is pissed! before Zidane, HE was the most expensive player and now you have THAT player that stole your record in the team and guess what? he is getting all the attention! Personally i think Real should have gotten Rui Costa instead of ZZ. He would of been better and cheaper and i think hey would be playing better football than they are now!

Theres too many so called SuperStars in that team! Raul, Figo, Zidane, R.Carlos, McManaman.

Thats theres too much money involved and the salary has a big difference! And players that don't get paid as much don't play as good as they really are.

You are correct. The Portuguese newspapers reported that Figo said the same thing. They asked him who he thought REAL should get, and said, "The best player in the world...Rui Costa" The two are good friends, so that obviously coloured the statement, but he knows they play well together and he has a lot of respect for Costa's skills. Plus, they wouldn't be too far from Figo's Algarve restaurant. ;)

By the way, watching the Milan Torrino game yesterday (BORING!) I heard that REAL made an enormous offer for Sevchenko. Man, they're rolling in it.

Well i am portuguese but i am not much of a Figo Fan! My personal opinion is that Rui Costa is a better player than him! But still my favourite portuguese player is Nuno Gomes ( believe it or not).

But if you think about it wouldn't it be better if you had Rui than Zidane???

Roberto Carlos will be leaving next season.. already he has won all the championships with the club and is getting a bit tired of the club, .. maybe a jump to barchela, although i doubt it or maybe a brazil club.. i dodn't see r.c going back to italy.. :(
